then is is going to be too expensive in the UK (and in europe) in Canon's UK website the price given is almost GBP 1200 which is roughly about usd2200,too expensive.
great, 1299 is acceptable. buy it from US e-bay.

Funniest thing is when I got series of let's say 4 photos and all of then got rejected because they are to similar ;-) I think one should be accepted to make their statement true ;-)

what rank are you? with bronze rank you can set 50$ for EL, with silver rank you can set 100$ for EL (and you get 50+ or 33+% depending whether are you exclusive or not)

How much light do you need to get a good isolation out of the camera
I am using 1500 watts 3 lights tungston shooting thru white umbrellas
I dont use "warm light", I use flash units. That image was shot with only 1 flash (canon 430ex), against white wall. now I use 7 flashes, and no need for isolation

Did you ever try Extract filter? (CTRL+ALT+X) (in combination with history brush to fix errors) I used to use it also for a few months, on some images it went really good. But then, I realized its imperfections, and never used that tool ever again... (Istock wont accept images isolated with that method but everyone else will. they are OK, but big time consumer. ) This image is isolated with Extract Filter:  Then I tried plugin for PS called: MaskPRO4. It is OK too, but... a lot of work with it. Time consuming. I realized it is "cheaper" to invest in proper lightning, and get isolated images straight out from camera, and do only minor tweaks to levels.

The subject is the bird, and to some degree the chip. Both of which are in the picture, completely.
Why do you think the entire hand should be in the picture? What does that have to do with anything? Why not the entire arm then? How about the entire person, with a wide angle applied? How about zooming back more for the entire beach?
This is what I cannot stand about some of the bizarre rejections from cropping. You at least have to be aware of what the subject matter is, and it isn't the arm or the hand.
how about entire planet Earth shoot from the Moon? I said only my opinion. If I were revirewer, I would reject it too. My opinion only. It looks like it is photoshoped, and hand and food added after, from another image... subject on that image is "feeding the bird", not "the bird". and image does not represent it well enough. (my opinion again).

a hand is badly croped. only tips of fingers are visible. if there were no hand and food, only a bird it would be OK, but this way is just failed attempt of making a concept of feeding the bird.

Nice tutorial. When I started in stock photography, a 2 years ago, I was using dodge tool a lot. Now I hate it and never use it anymore. Try to get as perfect isolation from camera as possible, and tweak with levels a little bit.

Rejected for overabundant photo catagory...so I sent them a message...that "If I search for seagull and chip I don't get any images, how can it be an overabundant photo??"
Reply..."We don't need this image"
Oh well, your funeral...haven't had a rejection from any other site.

bad composition due to croping / framing. I would reject it as well. Simply bad composition.

yes, but that 17mm is also not 17mm on 400D, it is 27mm.... I dont think I will upgrade to a full frame camera in next 1 year (dont have enough money, saving for the new car ). If I spend on lens+camera, that is a lot of money. On the other hand I am willing to spend like 500 bucks on sigma lens only. tnx anyway.

They did not accept my Bosnian ID card also (it is made by EU standard, an almost identical like german one...., text is on Bosnian and English), so I scaned my passport, and they aproved it.
