Have just uploaded a few pics and was wondering what is the acceptance rate like at PM.

Any experience?

General - Top Sites / Re: February 2008 earnings breakdown
« on: March 01, 2008, 07:28 »
Haven't got round to keeping exact stats and percentages but for me, FT was tops by a long way in February.

Never been there and don't think will be either!

I had never heard of - just took a quick look there.
Their colour scheme is certainly something!

As with Epixx, I'm currently enjoying a good run of sales at FT.

May it continue!

Mostphotos.com / Re: What is happening with Mostphotos ?
« on: February 28, 2008, 17:41 »
I must say, I'm not a big fan of the site design.
Would rather see less fuss, more simplified and be able to move around more quickly.

Slow for me also!

Adobe Stock / Re: Different Fotolia payout in different countries?
« on: February 28, 2008, 17:36 »
I think it would be good if contributors from countries already in the zone list were given the chance to be in their own zone.

Like most, when I signed up, I was unaware of other zones that existed.

Right now I'm finding with sales so far apart, it's hard to sustain interest at FP.

I'm also registered on the US site.
Does anyone know if it is possible to switch to different?

Congrats Adelaide!

Hopefully this will be the first of many such posts we will see here!

SnapVillage.com / Snap Village ( That name??)
« on: February 26, 2008, 15:40 »
Do you think the name is going to stick or is there any chance of a change?
Needless to say, a lot of photographers are not crazy on it.
However, it's good to see the that SV's database of images is really increasing.

Who knows, when it comes out of Beta we could see some action!!

LuckyOliver.com / Re: Losing Patience Fast
« on: February 26, 2008, 10:24 »
This thing about commenting on other's work is so like Red Bubble.

If you haven't got hours on end to spend  on your PC or laptop your images won't be seen.
Anyway, 80% of comments are reciprocal and don't really mean much.
False exposure comes to mind!
Personally, I don't think there's a need for commenting in Microstock.
Just get on with what we are all there for - selling!!

Better to be out taking photographs and uploading to sites where you get exposure and sales on merit!

I can't get myself round to uploading anymore to CanStockPhoto.

Sales are just so low - it's not worth it!

Just wondering is it worth the effort of joining and uploading.
You know the way it is with less established sites - all that work and little return!!

Any views on this one?

Yeah! a quiet enough week for me also - plenty of views though!

I transfer straight from camera.
Would agree you have to be careful with contacts and connections.

I think, that rather than reorder  keys in all of your images - if you just work on the ones with the least views.

Would save a bit of time as the ones that have high views are already being found.

Arranging keywords may have been a factor OK. but just to say that I have had a significant increase in sales recently - without altering keys.
