Between the 7th and the 10th day of the month. It's stated at the top of the member home page. It used to be at the first of the month then they changed it I think 3 or 4 months ago to how it is now.

From my understanding is that the preview generator is backed up. I've had similar issues awhile back and it took around 2 days for it to propogate. Give it another 24 hours if it still hasn't gone through then I'd contact support. I've never had one go more than 2 when that happens.

I'm using Blender 6.0 and don't know if it will export eps properly to be used by other vector software like illustrator.
It's basically a 3d modelling program that is free and the version I have comes with a lot of extras for it like extra rendering engines. I would have to check it out and see what happens.
I looked at the render settings as well as the export settings and it can not be exported as an eps. The only thing I've found that can be exported as an eps would be a uv map for you to use the file in either photoshop or illustrator or gimp or whatever to make textures for your model to wrap around them once it's brought back into blender. It can only be exported as image files like jpg and png and the like.

My last sale was earlier this month for .35 and the little image says winter 2011 so I'm not sure when it's supposed to start either after tomorrow or sometime in December because winter isn't technically until December  Oh and the .35 was on an extra small so not a sub sale.

Okay went and read the first post. Sounds good hopefully that will squash FTs plans for return to start (which, eventhough I'm not affected by it, is still just rude).
Have they implemented that plan yet or is it for release at a later date?

You can track up to 5 sets on your stats page but you can make more sets for your port and can track them from the Catalog Manager.
I find that it works better in Firefox than IE unless you're in Firefox then ignore this sentence :p

For me it's the same a burst of a few a day then sometimes one dl a day several days in a row or just nothing for a few days. Not sure about the evil eye (no where near that I'm at bronze) because they're not staring at me

Is anyone selling images on their site using Paypal? Right now that's my only option (and free aside from PP's cut). I'm working on a site redesign that's going to include a shop which isn't going to be my microstock images but other stuff. If anyone does I'd love to see how you have it set up. I have my own ideas about how I'm going to do the layout just curious if anyone else is doing it that way. Thanks in advance

It has to be over $30 plus it takes a week to clear recent sales to go into your overall earnings. Go to your commissions page and look at the commissions payable and not payable. If it doesn't add up at the bottom to over $30 then you have to wait for your other commissions to clear then the radio check box should not be greyed out.

If there's a rank above sapphire then that's favoritism to keep the top ports from being affected. If there isn't disregard because I can not find the rank list on the site anymore.

The only thing I've ever seen SS say about it is that they're sorry and they're working to resolve the issue, then come back on and say it's fixed only to have the same thing happen again the following week.
It's been a weekly thing for me that my newest ones that get approved disappear on Thursday or Friday then show back up on Sunday. If it happens again this week I'll search the db to make sure that my stuff is still searchable and that the issue is only limited to not showing up in my port. SS support has not been the best to deal with for the last year. They used to be really good about getting back to us on technical issues but not so much now which is why I don't bother sending support emails anymore. Not sure what's going on with that behind the scenes but I wish they could get it back to how it was back in 2010.

Anyway...back on topic. My missing images finally showed up on my main page and in my port. Hopefully all the missing portfolio images of everyone having this issue with are over and are all showing up.

Yes - disappearing act is back. Fortunately it seems that this time missing images can be found with keywords in Shutterstock database (not in our portfolio) and disappeared only from our portfolios. It was worse last time when the images were totally "unsearchable".
Huh? I just checked one of mine and yeah it's searchable in the database just not in my port. They're all there searchable in the collection hmmm...guess no one wants my new stuff since after they were approved this past monday

Yeah it's a lovely computer database whatever glitch that causes images to disappear a few days after they're accepted and they stay disappeared for a few days too. I'm hoping mine will show back up before my next review goes through. I've never had an image accepted then turn around and get rejected don't think they've ever done that. I remember reading a post from someone that had that happen but can't remember which site they were talking about.

Disappearing images is a glitch that's been going on awhile. Right now I've got 14 images that were approved this past Monday then disappeared all together today so you're not the only one having that problem. The $0 you see is because it's already October. You would have to go into your stats page and select September from the drop down menu. Anything else you need just ask

Very true Laurin which is why you don't see many photos in my port  I can't be an image factory there's no way in *bleep* I could sit in front of this computer and churn out hundreds to thousands of images a month. I'm a group of one so that's not going to happen. For me, micro is my full time job (after mother) and it pays my bills and sometimes I have extra to just play with. It's definitely hard to try to make the money that you want to in this business due to lack of equipment and resources but that doesn't stop me or hinder me from trying my very best to create images that buyers need/want. And soon I will be able to get the equipment that I need to make my work a little easier.

Just took a trip through VectoRain looks like commissions are based on your all time totals and your take is a percentage depending on what revenue you've earned and if your exclusive or not.
But the red flag for me is that selling vector files for less than $1 and 25% of a dollar is .25 and since it's less than you'd make less than .25 per sale. Not much incentive for me to join for less than what I started making at SS at their .25 tier.

Where do I find my account balance now? My download stats page now just shows earnings for this month and all time earnings -the running total of unpaid commission due has gone. Thanks, David. 
There seems to be a glitch in the system and others on the SS forum are having the same problem so you're not alone. Not sure if anyone's written/heard back from support on it. Hopefully someone will know something soon. It would be nice if I could start seeing some of those new downloads. Some have said they've gotten them I just wish one of them could be me
