Why not just simply bookmark all of your sites and then you just click and go?

Not hard at all?

What happens in the middle of a paid shoot if the expensive lights fail? What does the customer think?
The expensive lights have a failure rate of less then one failure per 10years of use.

Even then it is only a bulb and nothing internally that requires major work to fix.

You get what you pay for and quality comes with a price unmatched by anything or anyone!

EDIT To Add:

Do you use cheap Kit lenses or do you use the much better expensive Primes and top dollar Macros and zooms?

Here are the lights you really need. Buy the best once or you'll be spending more and more trying to get to where you want to be.

I see this advice all over the web, but the reality is that something now is better for some people than the best later. I've bought quite a bit of cheap gear over the years and still have most of it.
Well I also happen to be an Automotive technician and have been for the better part of my life and you know what?

If everything I bought was the cheapest India or Japanese tools made I would still have them as well but would it get the job done as easily and quickly as the more expensive Snap On tools that have a Lifetime warranty and will always increase in resale value? No!

And I do have the cheap stuff but that is to make a tool that I may need that I cant get my hands on at the moment and can't wait a week or more to get from Snap On.

What happens in the middle of a paid shoot if the cheap lights fail? What does the customer think?

I buy my tools so I can complete the job in the most proficient way possible so the cutomer can move on without having to sit around and wait.

To be able to do a 20 hour job in 6 hours because you know what you are doing and how to do it and to have the proper tools to do the job is both great for you and the customer (your client) who doesn't have to waste their time sitting around waiting for you.

Wouldn't it be hell to have a paid shoot go bad and then the customer badmouths you? And we know how word of mouth and first hand knowledge is right?

Do you do business somewhere where you hear they are bad at what they do? Think not!

Your working with a kit lens that is hunting and searching for areas of contrast to lock on so you are going to need to shoot using manual and use a prime lens.

firing your camera up before departing the house sounds like a good tip for sure- I can see a dead battery and being in the field is not the place to find out about it. Of course we all have spare batteries right?
Absolutely!

You are fool if you dont.

I have 1 spare battery for the camera, 12 for the 580EXII, 1 for the flash trigger, and two for the wireless remote and yes a bunch of cards of different sizes.

I also have a 1000 watt inverter so I can plug and charge anything I have with me and power whatever I need to power as well.

Yeah it was BETA tested for about a month.

And this just makes it easier for anyone to copy and paste.

I use kit and other premier lenses and no sharpening for me either.

Shooting RAW will require a tad bit sharpening.

I shoot jpg after all why spend time on something you can get right in camera and then make a minor adjustment and submit.

Learn to use shallow DOF and selective focus it can and does get accepted quite often when done right.

Always take all of your gear when you go shooting because you never know!

Always better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it!

Pay attention to the happenings in the world.

Shoot every and anything unless you want to be a one hit wonder in which case you pic your one and do it better then anyone else.

I might be able to think of more later?

So what happens is I upload 4 more images and then when they are done and the edit page comes up so does the missing image?

Says some keywords are irrelevant and to correct before resubmitting so they apparently go to the edit page for correction and resubmission.

Wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

I put one image up for review, so I go to check my pending files and I have none so I check my port for any newly approved files and none so I then assume it was rejected and then I check my rejected files and it is not there either?

So where did it go?

Look at it this way!

If you didn't have any old files and since your newer files aren't selling much just think  of what kind of sales you would have!

Be glad everything is selling otherwise you may as well just delete all your old files that are doing nothing for you but sitting there right?

But then that long lost EL from an old image wouldn't be there for a buyer now would it?

SS knows what they are doing.

And since SS has a Facebook page and displays our images at a large size they are now giving away our images for free to be sold elsewhere and they and we make no any money off of it!

I wonder how this is going to fly?

BS go read the TOS at Facebook that you agree to and what I quoted is on the Facebook site, Instagram is now thrown into the picture because they were bought by Facebook!

No matter what starting next month Facebook and Instagram can sell any of your images that you have put up on their sites because you checked I Agree to the TOS.

Go right here and look at the FB TOS.

https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms

It's not just Instagram it is Facebook as well because they own Instagram.

No, that's not the same at all. Facebook aren't saying they have the right to sell your images to others, as Instagram are, only to use them in connection to FB.

Looks like it is now Instagram and Facebook!

Tyler has locked the thread about it so everyone needs to deleted whatever they have on FB and or delete your account both there and at Instagram.

A few post's above.

How many people really know the difference between "Isolated" and "On white"?

I bet less than 50%.

Why because look at all the images listed as isolated that are on white.

There is a big difference and most people dont have any idea!
Whats that got to do with the OP ?

Dear Contributors,

We work hard to improve our review standards on a continuous basis. As the Shutterstock collection grows, we want to maintain consistency and improve overall quality within the collection.

There has never been any automation in our review process. We utilize knowledgeable reviewers who do their best to provide fair reviews for all submitted content.

The fact remains, however, that the process is a subjective one. If you receive a rejection and would like a bit more information as to why, we welcome you to post your photos in the critique forum to get feedback from other contributors. With the help and input of the talented Shutterstock contributor community we know you will continue to meet the challenges of these improvements.

Please read at least some of this thread, especially the posts from gnirtS.  Something obviously changed a few months ago.   The statement you're quoting is from May of 2011.
Sure so if it has changed then they need to come forward and let everyone know.
