Not sure what cameras people are using, but if your camera is putting out H.264 and you aren't massaging the video much, seems like a wasted to go Prores delivery. Kind of like resaving a .jpg. as a tiff...the "damage" is already done.

This story of ordering the keywords on Adobe is a pain
If other sites can do it without, why Adobe can't?
What is the advantage to order the keywords, compared to the other sites?
I don't order my keywords on Shutterstock, but I still sell more that two times more there than on Adobe, so??
Because the other sites reorder your words, and we have no control, some are alpha sort, some will change the order, some take out words, no matter what we started with. Adobe we are allowed to put our best words first so buyers will see a better match.
Nothing says anyone has to do anything if moving 5 words to the top is too much trouble. And from my own testing, it isn't a matter of only the first 5 or 7 are searched. Things are more like Alamy where the first words have more weight. This is a benefit and we have control and choices.
How about equally weighting keywords. If someone is looking for an image of let's say a green tomato and a file has the keywords "green" and "tomato" it will come up in search. If it sells, then maybe weight the keywords more or the file's rank higher? Having to manually move keywords around is frankly very time consuming. It is the one aspect of the adobestock website I extremely dislike. What makes it even worse is Adobe LR forces alphabetical order.

Agreed, hopefully they will soon!
I know they are going to allow newsworthy pictures soon(?) but I'm talking more about pictures without releases or with visible trademarks brands and that... (not necessarily newsworthy or photojournalism)
Well hopefully, they will have the same editorial "standard" as let's say SS.

I wonder how much time AdobeStock payments will be. The same as fotolia or going like Istock and once a month ... a month later ?
Well one think I noticed when I requested a payout, it seemed to payout the entire balance vs. letting you choose the amount (I like to keep it to round numbers).

With the Adobe interface, how does one change the order of the keywords after acceptance?
I know how to do it with the Fotolia interface, but can't see how to do it with the Adobe interface.
While in the dashboard section of the portal, select the image you want to update. Scroll down the page and you will see an image preview with the keywords adjacent. Hover your mouse over the keywords and the edit (pencil) icon will appear. Click it and the keyword update interface will appear.

Okay great thanks! Somehow when I selected the image I "saw" the "delete" and "Make profile image" selections and didn't even notice that the title, category and keywords were editable when hovered over.

How do you delete a mistakenly uploaded file prior to submission with the Adobe Interface? Thought I have done this before (select file and then under keywords there is a delete box), but I don't see the delete option after selecting the file?

What frame rate are you shooting in and what settings are you exporting in?
30 and 29.97, could that be the problem? My software recognizes that 29.97 is the best export fps. Should I set that in 30 anyway?
I believe 30 or 29.97 should be acceptable. Is it possible there is some kind of "hiccup" in the file (for example, cell phones will vary the frame rate on the fly)? What type of camera are you using?

I use Lightroom to process my photos, then upload manually to AS. Occasionally a spelling error slips through. Lightroom has no spell checker (PC version).
This just happened to me and I had to generate a ticket on AS since it seems they don't allow editing of titles after a file has been approved.
Two questions:
1. I heard there is a Lightroom plugin for uploading to AS...does it have a spell checker? (I gave up requesting Adobe to add spell check to LR).
2. In general, what do others do to avoid this issue without adding a lot of overhead in the file generation/upload process?

I have always done my payouts via Fotolia website. I figured I'd try on Adobestock. However, I got a question which I have never gotten on Fotolia.com
Specifically, it asks you to choose between "Are you a US tax resident" or not. What are the implications of the answer to this question?

Select the image you want to delete. Look to the right of the page under the keyword boxes. You should see a series of links, one of which says "delete file."

I made a mistake and uploaded some editorial files to Adobestock. Realizing this, I wanted to delete the files but could not see how so I went in via Fotolia and was able to delete them via the Fotolia interface. So my question is:
How does one delete files they uploaded from Adobestock via the Adobestock interface?
