Hell CanStockPhoto's reviews are taking for ever and they are doing partial reviews there as well and they are taking well over a week.
SS is no better and has no consistency because some are reviewed in 36hrs or less while others wait 10 days or more?

BS!!!!!
For those saying small batches only that is total BS!!!!
There are many who submit well over hundreds at a time and some thousands.
It has nothing to do with how many you submit!

I haven't heard the term "Pleb" since my days in West Point Military Academy!
Pleb Definition-"Actually defined as a member of a despised social class, a commoner, a member of the plebs of ancient Rome. Also low-born, undisinguished, vulgar"
I know the TAC Officers called me a lot of Vulgar names during my first year
Highland falls, Cornwall, Bannermans Island, Bear Mt, 218, 9w, 9E, New Windsor, Vails Gate, Newburgh, sound familiar?

That hasn't worked for me in so long I cant remember when it stopped working!
I can and do only upload using FTP with Filezilla.
And they still give funky rejection reasons anyhow.

So watching the news and everyone is wearing glasses so is this company getting paid from them? Are they suing them as well?
Just wondering how this part works since they are pretty much doing the same thing.

He doesn't downsize to 4mb! He downsizes to 4MP. There's a difference! I had posted about a blog that I wrote about http://www.bobkeenanphoto.com/my-microstock-sales/. I posted that I wrote this on a bunch of forums and have been getting some interesting responses.
One guy says he gets really good results downsizing the images to no more than 4mb. He says that eliminates a lot of the noise issues still keeps the the details sharp. He says he gets a good acceptance rate with that.
Anybody else experience this? I always thought that customers would want the largest file they can get. But maybe most customers can use the 4mb images and maybe that does cutdown on noise. I may have to try this and see what happens.

2) Different reviewers with different ideas on what has CV, which is subjective depending upon which reviewer is reviewing your images at the time. Still falls back to the fact that CV is subjective.
Falling back on previous reviewer's decisions can at least create more consistency. That is the point.
It's not falling back on a previous reviewers decision it is that they are different reviewers with different thoughts on what has CV.

Folks,
Thanks for making us aware of the issue. This is tied to the calculation of your monthly payment (you may have also noticed you didn't get that email today). We're running a little behind due to the conditions in NY and now we're double checking everything to make sure it's all correct. You should see the monthly total figures reset and get the email by tomorrow. You will still get your payouts on time as expected.
We're really sorry for the delay and any inconvenience. Thanks for your patience.

1) It has been 72hrs for some time now, even if you cant see it it is searchable.
2) Different reviewers with different ideas on what has CV, which is subjective depending upon which reviewer is reviewing your images at the time.
3) Mass produced letter for everyone who questions the review process, just resubmit with a note stating what you fixed and move on.
My Take is this is normal op at any given time and that Florin1961 is still new to this somewhat and therefore a NEWB.
Stop worrying about what you have no control over upload more and keep on getting it, move on.

It is what is known as a SOD (single or other download) here is from Scott and there is a thread on the forum about this somewhere. Hi All,
When you receive a high royalty for a single image, it is because the image was sold under a license that offers the option for sensitive use. That does not mean that the use was a sensitive one. The majority of these images will not be used in a sensitive manner. However, such use is a possibility. Unlike some competitors, we give you the ability to opt-out.
High royalties are often the result of a prenegotiated agreement with volume buyers such as large advertising agencies. These volume buyers may require additional license or workflow features, such as the option for sensitive use, indemnification, multi-user accounts, prenegotiated pricing, and special billing and workflow features.
By opting-in to sensitive use, you get access to all sales made to these buyers. By opting out, your images aren't available to buyers who require the option of sensitive use.
Overall, these sales are a great opportunity to drive additional revenue to you and we're excited to make them available. Smiley
Best,
Scott VP of Content Shutterstock

OK lets stir the pot and see what boils OK rant on once more about all this BME BS! How can this be anyone's BME if they have already had a BME at least once before? Care to explain? At the very least it has to be your BMY not BME. I mean if next year you have a better month then this months BME it cant be a BME because you already had a BME! Hello! OK rant over continue on. Forums are slow dead and dull. No you cannot trump your BME because you can only have one BME as is in any Business. That is why it is supposed to be your BMY or BMTD it cannot not be ever if you have already had an ever because of the definition of ever. See when a business is closing or selling itself out then they can go back across all of the records and then say that so and so month or year was their BME or BYE. So until you are done and no longer a member with a port you can not have a BME until all of the books are up to date and you will no longer be doing this anymore and have removed everything for sale here. Then you can look back at all of your records and only then can you find what is to be known as your BME. OK on with your regularly scheduled programming.
