Being an auto tech the reason that an image is rejected due to the numbers is valid because they are known as block casting numbers which identify the build location/date and time of when and where the block was made.
All manufacturers use this as a way to help identify the builds.
They are on autos/trucks/tractors and more they are for engines,trannys/axles and more

What other sites besides Istock are accepting audio???
Any info appreciated.
And how do you record it and submit it to the sites?
Do you just record onto the computer or some other way???

It's 50/50?
One time it goes through review without any problem and the next time it gets rejected!
So you take a gamble and throw the dice and see what happens.

Well I submitted some on the 18th when it said under 6hrs and I am still waiting! And yesterday it said review in under 2 minutes? ?? Longest wait in quite some time. And dont forget they are hiring reviewers right now so they are probably short handed.

We have all kinds of lighting displays around here as well and yes we also have a city center they light up in just about all of the major Cities and most of them are called the celebration in lights if that helps any.

Yes. Post your rejected images in the critique forum so that the experts can assess and provide feedback.
Yep this is what you need to do. We are looking for something to do over there anyhow because of how slow it is.

50 images out of tens of millions?
You have a way to go unless they are spectacular and unbelievably outstanding.

A mass produced mass mailing sent to all 35,000 of us.
Same thing for everyone made by the mail dept by order of Jon to be sent to all.
Yes it was nice to get one but I would prefer and think most here would as well think that perhaps it is time for some type of a small raise for all of us 35,000 unique and talented artists.
Yes

A 23 mile free-fall where he expects to exceed and break the sound barrier in a free-fall.
If i remember right he has already jumped from 18 miles once before.

So I take it all of your images are in categories where there are less than 40,000 images? I doubt it! You should care because SS does reject for that reason.
Well nobody's bothering to vote __ so nobody else cares either. What a waste of bandwidth.
So you had to post apparently just to waste more?
Yes, to guide the stocktastically-challenged OP on how to waste less in the future (i.e. by not starting a whole new topic/poll everytime he has an image rejected by SS or any other agency).

Just curious what everyone thinks is too many?
"Too many" of what precisely?
I've never seen that rejection statement but I'd assume if they're using it then it must be for a reason. Can we have the option of "Don't care" in the voting please?
You should care because SS does reject for that reason.
