I'm hoping the Veer Reps will reply to this thread. Some crazy tiny royalty numbers have been mentioned... are they true... is the math correct?
I'm on the verge of opting out but I would like the (usually attentive) Verified Veer people to provide clarity. I see the royalties will be based on a sliding scale but surely the brainiacs in the Veer accounting department have made estimates.
So Verified Veer People please answer these questions: What is the estimate payout for each sub? What is the estimated payout for each extended license sold?
Thanks

I can't see watching people taking photo's making prime-time viewing.
Mix in some love triangles, backstabbing, distraught models, losers being sent home with dreams crushed and a comic sleezeball or two. Could work.

I use one name now... almost. Nine of 10 sites allowed me to change/uniform my account names. Only 123 can't figure out a way to do that.

Thanks CD123. I tried a different browser and got it to go. My usual browser must need a reset. Technology making my life simpler.. again.

Sometimes the "make this image available free" yes - no button magically changes my default from no to yes. Just one more thing to keep an eye on in microstockland.

Hospitals in the US typically bill uninsured individuals 4X what they receive from insuranced or medicare patients. Many people never pay. Others lose their homes. Half of all bankruptcies in the US are medical care - cost related.

Insurance companies cannot be trusted. Rescinding coverage for people who dare to get sick and denying coverage for those with pre-existing conditions is what brought us to Obamacare in the first place.

To Zager: Thanks for the clarification.

I never did get an answer to this question on another thread: Is pixmac currently a 123rf partner? I have 700+ images at pixmac showing an account name I only use at 123rf. If they're not a partner.... they should not be selling my content... and I shouldn't have to contact them to prevent unauthorized sales of my art... but I will if I need to. So Pixmac please answer the question: Are you currently a 123rf partner?

Camino is just like Firefox except it allows you to block flash ads. Works great.

To dirkr, cclapper, trek, sharpshot: Currently there are only two partners no longer distributed via Pixmac. In each case the reason was different. We don't have hi-res files until the file is sold. It is based on API connection, therefor the source agency is tracking all downloads. [/quote]
Zager, my 780 photos on Pixmac show an account name I only use at 123RF. Is Pixmac a 123RF partner at this time?

I also received an email wanting another W9. I threw my fax machine away five years ago. Do we have to use 1990's technology? What's wrong with email?

Sending up another signal flair to Team Panther. My "complete registration" still does not work. My emails to support are unanswered. Attempts to login or chat return me to the same page that says complete registration - an email has been sent. I never got that email. The (international) phone number on the web site says contributors should not call.... So..... Are you guys out there? Hello..... Hello......

No hate mail.... just requests for help.... No spam filters here, nothing in my junk box. Could be I'm in their junk box... or just lost in cyberland.

I still never got the email "confirming" my registration. My emails to support went unanswered. My email to "team panther" here went unanswered. Seems Panter Media does not work.

I registered as a contributor three days ago. I received this message at the end of the process:
"You have just received a registration confirmation email. Please click the link in our email to complete your registration."
But the email never came. I emailed support twice but never received a response. Has anyone else had these problems? Thanks

I've considered hiring part time help but I'm not sure how to do it without creating a liability risk (USA). Do you guys have them sign a independent contractor agreement? Is there a standard form? Do you carry insurance for them? I've just been a low key solo shooter so far. Thanks

No worries Sean, I'm a travel, landscape, object shooter who's branching out by doing video hand inserts with a sleight of hand master (who's a friend). I think I'm allergic to models. Seriously, I love your work and appreciate your posts. I'd like to buy you a beer sometime and pry a few of those trade secrets out of you.
Thanks to disorderly for suggesting creating a deck. But I lack the graphic design skills to create convincing jacks, queens and kings. Numbered card are not as much fun visually. I'd like to take a class and get those design skills... someday.

I'm planning a shoot day with a magician in the near future. I'd like to get a deck of RF friendly playing cards. Does such a thing exist or are all "face" cards off limits through out the universe in perpetuity? Thanks
