march was very good for me except fotolia.
Would have been better if I was still getting 20% at Istock and 33% at fotolia.

I wish the number of sales on istock was equal to what I get on shutterstock.

If buyers are willing move around as much as you say and based on price how come yuri's sold a million licences on Istock when they can buy them at other agencies for lower.
I understand your logic but I don't think it would work for me. Maybe it works for you but how can you measure the unmeasurable.

Why don't they just have fields that you fill in eg. day month year town/city state country
Then they can put in what ever h#ck#ng order they want. Of course that would make sense and will not be adopted.

I definitely find Fotolia to be worse than Istock for me.
1) They earn me much less, last month was <10% of what I earn at Istock 2) My rejection rates there are much higher than any other agency including Istock
It seems that Fotolia and my work doesn't seem to match.

I'm really angry that nobody is sticking up for us wet plate photographers.
It's all a load of old collodion.
Or the combined abestos installers union

worth noting in the stats that shutterstock has a different site for contributors. Every time contributors check in at Istock it would be adding to the stats.

As far as this concept goes I don't think Yuri was the first to shoot a girl an apple and some scales. However this example does look like a determined effort to copy fairly closely. The copied keywords doesn't help the cause.

seems a bit of gymic to me.
I tagged a couple of my latest downloads but I had to give an approximate location as they were travel photos (street shots) that I couldn't remember the exact location they were taken from. I don't think that it will add a lot to the buyer long term that accurate keywords wouldn't do.
On a side note Surely it wouldn't take long the agency long to sort out those fiji,hawaii multiple keyworded images. Simple search finds them. I flagged a couple previous on dreamstime but got abused by the contributor. Won't be doing that again, I don't need people seeking revenge on me for correctly flagging their spam.

I don't believe this story, sounds like a hash up to get some free advertising and to drive up the value of the photos he is selling.
Conviently the buyer wants to remain secret.
Maybe its true but I have my doubts.

$ = i x a + sqrt(pi x (n-1)) where n = 0 to 199
i = number of images
a = some random number to make the equation work.
Will the number change your actions.
You have photos ready to go, there isn't much doubt that you will earn more submitting your best sellers to Istock,shutterstock and fotolia than remaining exclusive at dreamstime.
Just submit the best and then go back to producing images and upload the remainder in slower times.
