No response yet to my FTP request.  I tried the web interface again, with FF and IE, it doesn't work.  In fact it hung IE and I had to kill it with Task Manager.

Ok, GraphicLeftovers, I give up, I'm walking away now.  Drop me a line if you ever want some of my files.   :)

ask for it on live chat, they are really nice guys

« on: March 15, 2010, 15:15 »
1. Colors - Use GEGL
2. Image - Scale Image ...
3. set long site to 5100px
4. set resolution to 300px
5. set Quality Interpolation to Sinc (Lanczos3)

If the image is still to small then increasing it by another 100-200px does the trick.

thanks :) but I have now CS4!

I got just a question, why was XP/IS in such a hurry?? and then we need to wait for two months (if they enter in early April)..!

Contributors from group 2 and 3, should be I guess a few no??.. It doesn't mean huge $$ to contributors but for "them" should be no??..

just don't understand why so long to transfer and remove the duplicates that are already in IS..

I got pretty fast reviews until a month ago, or something like that, but now it takes 48 hours to review the files. Just my experience.

more than 48h and nothing... :(

Just to keep the info flowing - my batch had no models at all - probably an easier review with no MR checks.

hmmmm... got a lot but from the same model..! last week was fast like always.. don't know!

Submitted at 3:23pm, accepted 6:23 pm.  Fast!

curious mine is taking more than 24h, not usual..

Could be luck of the draw, a reviewer was working middle of the day, US time and I hit it right. Just got the emails. Review took 1 hour 26 minutes. Also all editorial which might make a difference?

don't know, its from a major event??

Heya Phil
The BigStock and 123RF sites have changed a lot over the last few days. I've patched it but it's stuck waiting in the mozilla review queue for autoupdate.
You can update manually from the addons sandbox here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addons/policy/0/11474/81993?confirmed
Hope that helps :)
Bob

I was going to bother you with another email :P

version 1.1.5 looks pretty nice! :)

Off Topic / Re: Flipping burgers
« on: March 04, 2010, 13:46 »
First, I am not native English speaker so I do not understand all nuances of this language. Why flipping burgers seems to be the worst insult here. "You are lousy photographer you should be flipping burgers instead". My mom always said to me that it's not shame to do any work.

In addition to what Sean said, "flipping burgers" and other fast food jobs usually pay minimum wage ($7.25/hour in the US).  So when people talk about being better off "flipping burgers" they mean that if they factor in all the time and money spent producing stock imagery they are making less than the minimum wage.

Of course some are making more than the minimum wage, but the above is the context I have seen the "flipping burgers" remark used in.

I have always heard and read that in the US there isn't a minimum wage, or there is?

Group 3
- Opted-in at IS (Partner Program), portfolio will be available at ThinkStock
- Opted-in for both Subscriptions and Extended Licenses on XP, then your XP portfolio will be available at ThinkStock, and the duplicated photos between IS and XP will be removed (transferred at a 3rd phase, not scheduled)

I closed my account back on Feb 4th....all I want is my payout.....which I'm still waiting for!!

not worth the 0.25$ to continue?
I upload the same photos to all the sites so it really wouldn't do me any good since they are already on iStock, besides I doubt alot of the ones that made it on StockXpert that weren't accepted at IStock would even be transferred because of the quality. So I just ask to close my account and get my final payout.

Ah ok! I have a few more pictures at XP, like 3times, so I am wishing that it went good at ThinkStock, Partner Program is going good, I guess "increasing"!
