Hassleblad isn't a cheap brand, I'm sure Canon can do it cheaper than them. There's a big gap between FF cameras and the cheapest medium format. If the rumour is true, wont Canon be looking to fill that void?
http://www.canonrumors.com/2012/08/canon-medium-format-cr1/ You can read here their take that this is a misunderstanding and it's really a rumor that a high megapixel FF is coming out not a MF.
I'm all ears about a new Canon high MP FF body.

There are those site where they limit you but not SS which is a good thing and that is why they are #1
That's exactly NOT a good thing and it's NOT why they are #1, you got it all wrong. Also, SS should better introduce uploading limits based on performance and acceptance rate, instead of swallowing zillions of similars that dilute the library. LE: I had a look at the portfolio in question. She really needs to diversify a bit. Her whole portfolio is 9 pages. Now search for "capitol" in her port - 2 pages of results.

Very good, Cory. I'm thinking of leaving them too. I haven't uploaded in a long time, but they're still making me a couple of hundred bucks monthly. Anyway, it really puts me off their policy with discounts for buyers being taken from contributors' royalties. They beat FT in the matter of shady business, imho. Depositphotos also make discounts, they have never taken a penny from me because of this.

Hopefully, buyers are buying?
Yes they are. Frantically.

The only Canon 50mm better than the Sigma is the f/1.2L. For the rest, get the Sigma and you won't regret it. The bokeh quality is very close to the Canon L. Btw, am eu unul de vanzare, compadre

Average month, nothing out of the regular order. With the exception of not uploading anything for about 3 weeks. That's the beauty of being a stock photographer, yes? You can take holiday whenever you like without making a significant dent in earnings.

Canon 16-600 L f2.8 IS II
Weak. I'd go for Canon 14-800 L f/1.2 IS III. Myeah, that should do.

What? Kudos to Serban? What is wrong with you people? The guy decides that cutting off our heads may be detrimental to his business so he cuts off both our legs instead and still manages to be thanked for it? Kudos to Lee, yes, but no kudos should go to Serban.
So true. I was baffled myself to read "kudos to serban", what the plank... Stockholm syndrome anyone?

It's very buggy. After a few refreshes it finally shows up, but it's definitely something wrong with that page. The rest of the site seems to work well, except for the Dashboard page.

With the occassion of reaching yet another milestone (oh well) I wish them to impose weekly upload limits, like istock has.
are you serious? over the years people complained about IS slots or am I wrong?
I am very serious.
can you elaborate?
Yes, it translates in "I really meant what I said" It's simple - less dilution, more quality, possibly better rewarding $0.38 'togs and all the other good things derived from these.

I haven't any sale on DT for more than 5 days! What is happening there?
I think there has been yet another search change as my files have picked back up in the last few days.
And totally crashed again today. I don't remember ever having such a bad day mid week!!!!
DT is really racing to the bottom as far as I'm concerned. Istock made 3 times more in 2 weeks, with only one tenth of my port at DT.

Grey cards are useful when shooting in tricky situations, like mix of different temperature tungsten lights or in a forest with dense foliage, etc. However, in studio situation you can just set your wb according to the specs of the strobes you're using (normally 5600 K).

I think the topic title should have stayed as the original. There were so many topics with offensive titles regarding istock or fotolia or other big agencies that make the most of our money, but if some rep of some site (yotola-who?) asks here, the moderator changes the title. WTH is this? I am more and more getting fed up with what's going on in this forum. Regarding the subject, this smells scam really bad and as Sean said, it's just one more nail in the coffin. Dribble, dude - you surely are not that (insert_censored_word_here), yes? You can "contribute" to these guys, of course. Maybe this way you'll add some value to your work. I'll be number 23 on the list of people who ignore you - and you my one and only ignored creature.

@rimglow - make a search after "remote control isolated" on SS, you'll get nearly 5000 images. HOW MANY of these do you think they want? You need to expand a bit.
I think there are 2 kinds of LCV:
1. This is crap and will never sell 2. Could sell loads but we have plenty already (HCV for contributor but LCV for site).
Yup.
