not a lot of money? depends on how you look at. 8$ per hour times 8 hours = 64$ a day. 64$ times 23 days a month = 1472$ a month. it is equivalent to 956 EUR which is waaaaaay over average monthly salary in my country. furthermore 900 EUR a month is considered a very very good salary.

do non-US citizens living out of US (in a word - not having anything to do with USA) have to do it too?

I didn't have the single sale for a month and a half, and yesterday I got 3. I think that they have started messing with the search and hope they'll leave it a present state (I keep imagining two tech guys, one with the "search engine antenna" on the roof moving it around, and the other downstairs looking at a screen and yelling "keep it still, now! the sales are starting to pour in!"

Seriously though, my numbers are not correlating with these traffic numbers at all, not by a long shot. I'm not really going to be all that concerned as long as my paycheck is roughly the same (or more) at the end of every month. When THAT number drops off, then I'll be concerned.
when THAT number does drop off, it will probably be too late to prevent it.

Thanks again to TinEye, this one is a curious usage of a Brazilian banknote in a Hungarian site.

how many times (a week, month, day, hour, whatever) should one do this? did you set a gentleman's limit?
well, yes, you have limits , if you're a gentleman. but that's not a gentleman, that's a lovely lady!

sorry, I wasn't clear enough. When I said "you" I meant all of us here, both ladies and gents, and by "gentleman's limit" I meant something of a "mutually agreed limit that would benefit all and not clog the page with just one person's photos". not to mention that I'm new and pretty hungry for attention, so that's why I asked

for IS non-exlusives it is more of a "7 and more days" review times, I'm waiting for files uploaded on June 12th to be approved, and there when you look at "browse recent" there is more than 20000 images to come before mine take their turn, while the exclusives' images has surpassed non-exclusive number being approved by more than 40000 images.

Who decides which image goes to which lightbox? do you apply for a lightbox participation or do the shutterstock staff do that occasionaly when looking for new images?
