I don't think you will see a change overnight. First of buyers who did not like the other system have to find out that they have changed their format. I would say we will know if this new format is paying off by the end of the year.

To me they are a good site. I am in Warrens camp too, I avg. about $10 a month at 123, which puts in in around 3rd to 6th place depending on the month.
I have made more money in one month at 123RF then I have in all my time at iStock...so it depends on the users I guess

I just wish it would post to fan pages. I have a fan page for all of my image work that is relatively separate from my regular account.
You might bring that up in the forum they have about it. I don't know anything about the programing, but that might be an easy option.

The only sites I would even consider going exclusive with is iStock or Dreamstime...but its not beneficial personally for me. Besides the great advise, I must say I cracked up with the tube of lube comment.

Has everyone checked out the new Dreamstime/ Facebook application. It is pretty nice, it will automatically post your recent images that have sold, new images, blogs, etc. Its a great little feature for facebook users. Dreamstime

When ever Paypal comes out with changes it never seems for the better. Same with Ebay, I was upset that ebay requires you to use paypal now...talk about corner market.

I have been a member of DeviantART for a while, but never sold anything. They are free to join.

Red Dove, you are good to go. Just make sure as stated above to save at 12 image quality. Unlike etien, I save all my images at 300 dpi sense that is what is used for printing. Some sites, moodboard for example only accept 300dpi...but most will accept 72 dpi also. Your shooting in RAW so that is also great, Alamy is the only site I have ever had to upsize a little for...only do this with RAW images. Good luck when you start to sign up!

Right now I am talking with another person at NewEgg...via email. Maybe the first guy was just having a bad day, who knows. I will let you know if anything happens...otherwise I am sure I will be placing it on ebay.
I have never bought anything from Tigerdirect...might have to try them. I do however get all there CompUSA emails like crazy to my junk email account. Normally, I like Buy.com

I agree it would be nice to hear a statement. SXC was run by SX like Eric stated. I have seen sales drop there and sadly I have not seen sale increase at my iStock account.

I have bought things off and on...nothing that they would give me special favors for. I explained to them that I knew it was the wrong item after it shipped. There answer was that I should have refused to sign for the item. For one thing, I order two items, I still wanted the other one. The second issue, I never signed for it...it was left at my door when I was at work...so that was not even a possibility. He told me that was not his problem, which is when I swore them off and posted my message.

I am in the middle of doing a review for them on their software and highly recommend buying the old one over the new one. The new software still has a tone of bugs to work out.

That sucks...well you will be in good hands with Canon. I would recommend the D90 over the other as you will have more cash to build on all the stuff you lost.

I still have images there because of the whole 400 day thing...but I think they are pretty much dead. I have $26 in my account for over a year.

After getting the email I clicked on the site. Two things turned me off right away, I didn't even look into all the requirements. The front page is really cluttered, being in stock photography everything should be well designed as its designers that are looking for images. Second 90% of the front page is 3D models, which I don't do. I guess a third thing would be seeing a lot of poorly done images. I am assuming there is no review process sense its a new sight, but this frustrates buys when they have to sift through junk to get to good images. I am more open to new sights the most here, but I need to be wow to make it worth my time to try. As of now, 3D studio is lacking in their welcome mat pers-a.

I am wanting to post this just to warn everyone about bad costumer service at NewEgg.com. They will not take refunds. I bought a processor for my computer that was fired over the weekend. Once I got it I realized it was the wrong one and and within a day from it arriving I requested that I return it for a refund. The item was unopened in all original packaging. They require you to send an email to support and from there Newegg will decide if you can return the item. I of course was denied, which is ridicules sense its unopened and brand new. I personally expected to pay shipping and a restocking fee, but not complete denial. They don't post anything up front saying it is a non-returnable item and according to the support some items are and some aren't. It also sounds like its personal judgment left up to the support person, all very shady. I however will never buy something from NewEgg sense this is a horrible policy, but I want to inform all my colleges.
