I sold only 1 4K video in more than 3 years there. I have always found this very odd...

Absolutely dry here. Worst than ever with a 5K portfolio 

After I sent 2 e-mails complaining, Things got back to normal. I hope it will stay this way...

Is anyone here experiencing a slow server problem when uploading through FTP ?

I have a fast internet connection here. Same files uploaded to other agencies servers are going 10x faster than shutterstock´s lately. Really annoying

my bad... I thought it was on the 15 august the whole changes.

2 months gap between the 2 different changes...  Really smart move from them

I just read more carefully the same email they sent and found out this;

"By October 15, 2018, we will raise the publicized price of HD footage to $79. This is the price that guests will pay to purchase an HD clip. "

I guess until 15 october price will remain at 49$...

Yes, I think they lied...

Istock did that years ago... I deleted all my port and never looked back.

2 videos sold for 1,50$ only this month. Last month I had 1 more... Feels terrible!!!

Finally got my first 4K sale!!! hallelujah

After almost 3 years...

I guess that explains the decreasing on my sales every year and the fact that I never sold a single 4K video there.

I sell 4K videos with a certain regularity in P5, SS and AS. Videoblocks have NEVER sold a single 4K video in 2 years or more. I have More then 2.100 4K videos in my portfolio...

I don't know what it is, but it sure looks very very strange to me!

Almost 1 year later since I open the topic with many more videos and still not a single 4K...

They keep selling a lot but downscaled to 1080p. 

They had this problem a few weeks ago and then they fixed after 10 long days...
Now it seem to be happening again. We should all contact the support asap.

Very odd all those 4k clips being refunded!

Videoblocks is the only agence that has never sold a single 4K clip for me in 2 years. That is already strange by itself...


And now Pond5 is getting money back too...       Hard times!!!

For those who are interested, this is what they answered;

"We have checked this footage sales, and it seems like you were paid out accurately.
The footage was purchased in a large package deal, which generated a payout of $1.50."

... Have you ever wondered why the rich stay rich, and the poor stay poor?

1,50$ is the lowest commission I ever got since "Istock times" (about 3years Ago)

I have more then 1000 videos in 4K format and I have never sold one in VB. They sell, but always downscaled to HD. Every single time in the past 2 years as a contributor.

The other 3 agencies (P5, SS and FT) are selling my 4K videos every once in a while...

I wonder what are your experiences selling 4K videos in VB comparing to other agencies?

I find it very odd these Shutterstock earning numbers. I sold 15 videos this month and they are all different numbers;

5,70 - 5,28 - 18,61 - 18,72 - 79,32 - 3,87 - 12,41 - 17,85 - 4, 19 - 12,55 - 4,19 - 5,10 - 20,40 - 11,99

How is this possible???

I upload to 4 different agencies P5, SS, VB and FT.

Before this July /august I was selling well in SS and FT but not with P5 an VB.

Now is the contrary. P5 and VB picking up and SS and FT doing very, very bad....
