Shutterstock.com / Re: Very low video sales« on: February 07, 2021, 04:12 »
Same thing for me gnirtS
I wish I could quit Shutterstock, but looking at my numbers at Pond5 and AdobeS, that would be the end of me in this business. January with only 15% comission SS made me 3x what P5 did. Normally its 5x(+). I did quit Istock and Storyblocks at the time, for the same reasons, but unfortunately I cant afford to do the same with Shutterstock. 4
VideoBlocks / Re: Anybody still contributing to the membership video library?« on: November 04, 2020, 06:44 »
Just saw your portfolio. Your animations are great!
I took down my portfolio at Storyblocks when they introduced the new membership program. I wasnt too happy with the 50% cut and the low sales already... AS and P5 didnt took off after that. I am afraid I might have done the wrong move, considering your statistics. 5

Thanks.
I find your earnings very good considering the size of your portfolio. I have the same earnings in Adobe Stock with 6K videos ![]() 6

"Average for the last half of 2019, about $235 a month... average for 2020, about $425 a month."
Can you tell me the size of your portfolio, please? 7
Adobe Stock / Re: No sales in August« on: August 28, 2020, 07:56 »
AS is getting worst every month comparing to last years earnings. Very frustrating!!!
2019: JUNE = $ 123.19 / JULY = $ 238.28 / AUGUST = $ 155.50 2020: JUNE = $ 86.34 / JULY = $ 53.20 / AUGUST = $ 51.45 If this goes on Ill have to close my account. Not worth all the work! 8
Adobe Stock / Re: Aldobe stock earnings. Woohoo!!!!« on: July 29, 2020, 04:03 »
Thousands of videos in my portfolio and only 3 sold this month = 53$
Ridiculous!!! 9

Shutterstock doesn't deserve my editorial videos anymore, but they are the only one that actually sells them
![]() Come on Adobe, do something about it! 11

General - Stock Video / Re: How is it better: Using an agency or several different ones?« on: November 24, 2018, 05:34 »
I sell my videos on different agencies!
I have always asked myself if it wouldn't be better to stay only at Pond5... What drives me down off this ideia is the fact that Pond5 have its "dry seasons" too. Shutterstock sometimes saves my life, despite the low price business practice. 14

Sales have been disappearing very fast there.

I sold only 1 4K video in more than 3 years there. I have always found this very odd...

Hello,
Is anyone here experiencing a slow server problem when uploading through FTP ? I have a fast internet connection here. Same files uploaded to other agencies servers are going 10x faster than shutterstocks lately. Really annoying ![]() 20

You are right my friend.
![]() I just read more carefully the same email they sent and found out this; "By October 15, 2018, we will raise the publicized price of HD footage to $79. This is the price that guests will pay to purchase an HD clip. " I guess until 15 october price will remain at 49$... ![]() ![]() ![]() 23
