Sorry, I'm out after 1st July. But I will not upload. And I will track how things is going. Maybe will change my mind.

77
Stock Submitter Coalition decided to continue boycott up to 1 July.

The reason is Shutterstock (NYSE:SSTK) ends its fiscal 2nd quarter 30 June 2020
They will have to publish some metrics. They will have to show the base decrease if we were good. If our blackout will be not enough, they will show the base growth decrease anyway. As far as I know, base growth was never decreased before. That's why we continue the boycott.

For those who can't hold any longer, I ask you to act again. Disable the portfolios for 27-30 June. So we can drop the base growth and became visible for the shareholders. There will be a weekend, so I hope you will not lose much sales.

78
a new low!!! (w many pluses? )  so now if you don't support the boycott you're a nazi? shame!!!
Well, if someone trying to make profit on people, who decided to starve in protest... You name it.

79
Amount of sales increased because other people are disabling their ports, and now you're capitalising on that.
ROFLMAO - the tiny decrease in files hardly affects my sales, which remain at the lvl as before this 'boycott'
Let me guess, you cant wait for the January, when you can tell everyone that your earnings are doubled?

Chart with the numbers falling:

http://shuttercounter.ddns.net

It needs to be fixed. I see all dots on the same level. But they contain different data.

81
What didn't I understand?
What is the point of procrastinating for 15 days?
Why do only today what could (should) have been done 10 or 15 days ago?
You don't understand the difference between personal war and organized protest. First is effective for a person, if he/she think so. The second - is a way to solve problem. We do it all at once to show we are unite.

82
Just disabled 9,5k vectors and 7,5k illustrations

Is SS blocked it already? It worked for me earlier, but not anymore.

I turned my images off last week, then I got a notice that I was going to get a payment, so I turned them back, worried that they would withhold the payment. After the pmt. was in my bank, I went back to turn them off, and I just kept getting a message that I turned them on and off too many times. one time? I tried for 4 days, and they never worked again. Meanwhile, I deleted all images except one. I left my account open, because some people were reporting that images that had been rejected were showing up in their port.  I want to monitor that.
I mean, deleting script is not working anymore.

After 1 min of extra thinking... So how many stock contributors will be banned? 100? 500? Shutterstock will be fine without them. This action is... Boring. I won't change my avatar or whatever. Nor publicly cry. Take it, or leave it. But you can fight :) I will be thankful for your activity.
Just stop it. Do not continue. Also, don't yell.

Anyway, let me remind for all of us that there's a huge difference between claimed SS contributors and active SS contributors. Because, I guess, every third "portfolio" have no images at all. In 2016 active portfolios amount was counted, or leaked. It was about 30k. And now almost 10k signed the petition. This is a good number to deal with, as for me.

86
+added official ss reply with conclusion, see header posting.
Looks like official reply was provided by third-party support, as a pre-written universal answer. How dare they?

Shutterstock do not have a problem with selling public domain status images, but do have a problem with public domain status images that have not been verified as such.
Shutterstock DO have problems with Public Domain photos. It's forbidden by TOS. Imagine we all download the same photos from Unsplash and upload the same to multiple ports. It is clearly breaks the inner SS rules, not the law. But guys from Unsplash don't know it, so please inform.

Sorry for offtop.

88
I've placed only the name of the site, no links.
You care about TOS? You know... F#CK it!
Yeah, yeah. I'm in, I am disabling on 15-21. But I am not ready to F#CK the TOS yet. I prefer to quit by my own will, then get banned. And there's a lot of people like me. You setting them up. If you want to keep the line 4, add a warning.

89
4] Change description of your profile to smth: "Since June 2020, after huge royalties drop for contributors I have stopped uploading my stuff to SS. For new/better stuff check me on [insert your fav site].
This is violates the TOS and may cause ban. So I would not recommend it. Especially, with links.

123RF / Re: Is it the end of 123rf
« on: February 06, 2020, 10:41 »
A few years ago Inmagine group, which is the parent company of 123RF, bought the pixlr online photoshop like editor app. Nobody knew what for, it turns out that what they liked was the '500 million users and over 130 million app downloads' that pixlr might have. Now they're trying to build a Freepik style marketplace connected to pixlr. https://market.pixlr.com/ I'm pretty sure that's what they see the future in and probably most of 123rf's staff is working on kickstarting that new site. So I doubt they care too much about 123rf anymore, and that could also explain the infinitely long review times and basically all that there is.
Luckily, they will never provide an earnings closely compared to FP, so it's just a waste of funds. Nobody will contribute there for cheap, if overall reward will not be overwhelming.

By the way, after the last ratings cut on 123RF I lost 30-50% of earnings. After last summer promo campaign I raised my level, but did not raise the income, which is weird and suspicious.
I think, 123RF is already dead. We just have a couple of years to scratch the bottom for the last coins. Shame, I remember the time, when it was my number 2.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Yaymicro? Is it a good site?
« on: February 06, 2020, 10:29 »
I left it many years ago. It was low seller and had proven incidents with not showing sales.

GLStock / Re: GLStock does not pay ?
« on: December 04, 2019, 01:11 »
I had a payout this year without a problem. Surprisingly, I had 3 sales right after this. So, I am not sure, should I run next year, or abandon it, or stay.
But, what I really don't like right now, is that I wrote a letter to support two weeks ago. A simple yes/no question. And I see no answer at all.

PS: Wow, I see 5 sales already by now! They don't send notifications anymore.

94
My sales are halved first and now it's about a 1/3 of previous income.

You can earn by publishing links, banners or integrate API, etc.

I think you are talking for affiliate with Adobe, if you have a site or blog to publish their ads.

https://www.adobe.com/affiliates.html
Thanks, probably you are right.
But it looks complicated. I had simple referral link for buyers on Fotolia. But on Adobe I have to register a separate account with slightly broken interface. Meh...

Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe Partnership Program
« on: April 25, 2019, 01:48 »
It's on Russian, so I can't quote.
Switch to Adobe Stock Partnership program. Fotolia partnership will be closed on May, 6. You can earn by publishing links, banners or integrate API, etc. If you need more info, follow the link. And link is leading nowhere.

Adobe Stock / Adobe Partnership Program
« on: April 24, 2019, 23:49 »
I receive letters from time to time, to join Adobe Partnership Program. Because Fotolia is closing and their PP is closing too.
But what is this APP? How to get there? I don't see any links or any mentions in FAQ.

The news is here! SS decided, if we don't fit 50MB with 4MP, then the best choice is to extend 50MB to... Nobody knows.

So, heres the next, more clear petition.
