I have left my portfolio at 4 agencies, SS, DT and DP! havent uploaded for a year, I am only active and uploading to Adobe/Ft and Istock!....youre right though in the sense that smaller agencies are quite useless!

Oh I'm a video novice too, as I said I've only got around twenty 4k timelapses I captured with my Canon 6D. Some encouraging sales though for such a small amount.
Next step is to get a full-frame mirrorless camera that can do normal 4k video, looking at getting either a Sony A7 III or Canon EOS R.
Switching systems will be expensive but has to be done really, think mirrorless will take over now.
I also just got an iPhone XR which does reasonable 4k video, handy for places that I can't use a big camera for some 4k editorial video.
Go for the Panasocin GH5, for video is the best in my expirence, I had the sony a7sII, and it was amazing, but the GH5 has 4K 60 p, and 180 fps in 1080... For stock it works(Panasonic doesnt pay me hehehehehe)
Good article brasilnuts, I saw that you visit Spain (Seville) I live near, in Cádiz

I know it might not seem like much (since I've mainly focused on videos).
But, recently decided to upload some of my images as well.
Currently I have a HUGE image portfolio of a grand whopping total of about 50 imagesWhich, probably only took me about 20 hours to curate, edit, keyword, etc... so (at the moment) my 'effective' salary for images is about $0.02/hour...
BUT... it's still pretty cool the idea of having made a sale from an image I took! (I suppose I am thinking the 'super' amazing thing is that... with the "2 million images uploaded" this week thing from shutterstock, mine happened to be one of the ones that was purchased (via subscription). And I didn't have to upload 50,000 variations of the same thing to get that...!
Now I just need to figure out how to multiply that number by about 1,000,000 per month... and I'll be set!

Wemark just replied to this to me. This was the most interesting part of their message.
"I believe that we'll speed up the review process for all photographers around the second half of 2019"
I also ask them to delete my account. Wonder how long that will take.

Where is Wemark. Still in business. My images are still not reviewed. Anyone had their images review ? I am guessing another one bites the DUST.

Hi, i had a sale (31-10-2018) that appears in microstockr but not on the site of Alamy... is it normal?
Where does Microstocker get the data? From Alamy, so what you are saying is logically impossible. Doesn't mean it's not true, but since the reports come from Alamy, how would Microstocker see this and not you?
DACS US the transfer fee is high, I'd rather just let AL do the work.
Good question, no idea how microstockr could see ... but I can say that Alamy updated the information at the end of the day while microstockr had displayed the sale in the morning, the same day ...
So Sammy's reply #1 was correct.

You may need to wait for the next server update on Alamy to see it.
If you can't wait click the "Download Sales Report" link on your Alamy dashboard
then
where it says "Please enter a date range " put todays date as the end date
and select "Date of Invoice" instead of date paid and click the "Go" button and it should show sales up to and including todays date.

First, you're not thinking globally and the agencies are (more or less) global in their sales. Friday in the US is Saturday in Australia for example. Generally, in my experience, Saturday in the US is the worst day of the 7 as it's a day off for most people that day.
I assume you're thinking about consumer uses of stock versus business uses, but I haven't seen any content differences, just volume ones. That's probably going to vary depending on portfolios.
But even if you could get an answer to this question, what use would it be?
Who are you to tell me that I'm not thinking globally? Do you know me? Do you know how much it's my effort in stock market photography?
If you judged me by my portfolio, sorry to disappoint you but you are completely wrong about me!
Relax
Read the reply and take it for what it's worth for it's information
No need to take it personally
