here's how you can boost your sales. On FP, for example, you have 4500 images and a quick flip through them looks like if you removed all the similarities your actual portfolio size would be more like 1000-1500. I saw some really nice landscapes in there but they lose their WOW because they are surrounded by tons of the same thing over and over. Be more selective when uploading. You also have a lot of subject matter that is just not high selling concepts. This probably has more to do with your low sales than anything else. Landscapes are great but you need to have more diversity. On your isolated objects you should also make sure the white background is white .. isolated subjects on dirty gray backgrounds will never make you money. Shoot more concepts and work on the artificial lighting and you should see your sales start to increase.
I agree on isolated objects, I am learning how to do this. Before microstock I mostly photographed nature :-) Started with cheap light tent but results we not satisfactory. Since I am hobbyist I started buying some lighting equipment, mostly stuff to put flash away from camera :-)

According to Lookstat I sold close to 4500 images. I found my image once on some British computer store site cause it used to be info about it on Fotolia. I wonder how my images are used?

BigStock was always bad for me. I am lucky if I have 1 DL per month. I partially blame myself for that, at the beginning I uploaded a lot of files without IPTC. Then I learned that it's to difficult to handle and asked customer support to remove files waiting in submission queue. I was quite surprised when I learned that it counts toward my acceptance rate. I gave up since I was only able to rebuild it up to 30% because of long review times.

I uploaded more then 4K of images to FeaturePics, almost no sales. Over 2K to YAYMicro, got 3 sales this year. Now I am over 1K on Cutcaster, no views, no sales. I am loosing my patience. I also stopped actively uploading to Crestock, MostPhotos, BigStockPhoto for above reasons.

I am not expecting anything if I got only 40 views since they are online. No chance to sell anything.

It has been downward trend for me during last half of the year at SS. Other sites are very hectic. I never got any volume sellers which could drive my results in longer term.

I have been out for a week. All queues are cleared :-) Sales are down due no activity from my side. Need to start uploading again.

Now SS rejects everything and FT accepts almost everything. Everything is relative.

They do not deserve 5th place. They are also below SV, MSP, YAY,FP, PM

It seems like they check first image then assign same reason to other images without checking. I got bunch images of empty beach rejected with this reason: "Other concerns. Multiple legal issues: Copyrighted artwork visible, Trademarked logos visible, No Model releases attached for people, No property releases attached for structures/property." It looks like there was some before them that might have legal problems but they did not to bother checking further. It kind of going into Alamy territory :-0) I should make sure that I do not mix different subjects :-)

I wonder where Graphic Artist belong, High Tech or Media & Entertainment industry? I would say it's either Media & Entertainment or Consumer Products and Services, depending on what you do.
Given your avatar, I had thought you worked for Energizer.
Easter Bunny is not affiliated with Energizer :-)

I was always wondering why they need so many private info on model releases and if it is revealed to the buyer. Fortunately all my models are my family so they would have to go thru me to contact them :-)

It's a sign that reviewers are overwhelmed. Maybe it's just vacation time or some got laid off.

In case of programming Russia and whole Easter Europe is best in the world. In last couple years winners of Google Top Coder are coming mostly from Warsaw University :-) When I was living in Poland the company I was working for was creating software for Swiss and German markets. Ukraine is probably cheaper than Poland but still quality should be way better than from India or China.

My suspicion is that they got a bug. When you submit video there are two radio buttons and the bottom one is for extended license. If immediately after that you submit a photo bottom button will be still checked and if you did no notice that you are sending to free collection.

Nice, I never checked Fotolia API. Maybe I can have images from my portfolio displayed and available for sale on my WodrPress blog easily.

I could say "I told you". Everybody got so excited cause there is Corbis behind them and they used to be big players in old stock arena. Corbis proved with SV that they have no idea about microstock. They should snap something which is already up and running instead of reinventing a wheel again.
