Why rename it? I upload them as camera saves it. Like DSC_3456.JPG...
If you do composites, illustrations, or anything that isn't straight out of the camera, you need some sort of naming scheme to use. I prefer an organized life
I rename my raw files as well (date and a four digit sequence).
When you use a naming scheme, particularly for files in a series, it's a lot easier to deal with - the larger your portfolio gets, the more help these organizing steps are. So something from my recent remodeling series might have a Kit- prefix (kitchen), something descriptive - countertop templating - and the raw file number - 150707_0008.
If I blend exposures, I might have 161216_0206-209 for the range of raw files in the blend. There's lots more detail, but I think that the camera name is about the least helpful way to handling naming.
I don't worry about spaces any more - once upon a time they caused problems for file systems, but I think that's obsolete for the environments I'm working in, as are worries about length
He was talking about photos not illustrations. Anyway, the way I see it, for me it's just unecesary work. When I upload a batch of file, I just create new folder, for example Batch-01, 02, etc., so if I want to upload to a new agency I just go by these folders...but to each his own...

I don't believe this is due to dillution of files and slow customer growth. If that was true, sales would slowly decrease, it wouldn't be so sudden drop for 50%. Something else is going on here...

Is this SS only or also other agencies? My highest sale was $200 gross ($100 net) at alamy for a pills on a white background. Have this same photo at all MS agencies I upload...At SS it was $60 SOD.

So...how are your sales at Canva this month? Mine are more than 50% down compared to previous months, also 0 multiple-use sales, which I regulary had, not many but some each month...

I have a problem with sending the RAW file to ss because it exceeds ( even after zipping) the allowable limit (of one file) their mail box. Only 25Mb. The Raw file includes the camera serial number written in exif which I took the photo and still I have .
Try print screen of a raw file opened in PS or similar? I know it's not the same but still, better than nothing, at least for the start...

The problem is not, that "sales screen" haven't been updated. You just don't have sales. Like the rest of us.

Well, SS still shows photos from the "same artist" and they can go to your port and check the rest of the files. But I agree with you , showing flowers for similars is fail on their part.

No wonder it takes so long for vectors to be reviewd when spammers are uploading thousands and thousand of almost identical icons.

And there also differnece between ad agencies and newspapers. Newspapers wont spend hundreds of dollars more for a 500x500 photo for their website.

The way I see it: ALL photographers should be in this, otherwise news media will just buy photos from the cheaper ones...

Yeah especially with 90 files and 2 sales in more than a year.

My sales are also higher than a week ago. Actually they're quite good. Nice to see that also new files are selling very well. Maybe that's a good thing that files are dissapearing, because when they show up again in the mean time files of other contributors dissapear and they're more visible Just a thought though, don't know if this is true...

How's that possible when SS states that maximum you can get is 120?

Funny, I just went and checked my port. Yesterday a batch of files were approved and 3 of them sold a few hours later. Now they are missing from a port and if I click on images that were approved yesterday it says they're not avaliable or pending approval! This is pure disaster. P.S. Those files were visible in my port yesterday, today they're not.
EDIT: I went and typed in a search box some of the keywords and they are not searchable.
Why even bother to upload, if files can't be found.

I like them too, only wish they would fix or change their upload system. I'm following then on FB and unfortunately they have regular downtimes, and judging by the comments, buyers are getting sick of it. They have some issues with their system..
P.S. Anyone had any EL sales there?

"This mormning though I had a fantastic surprise my other agency had sold two of the pictures with world-rights etc and for the hefty price of. $.6000!! ( my percentage) I nearly fainted I thought sales like that was a thing of the past."
60 cents caused you to faint?
I guess that's the scary part then...
