10 years? you are so weak with numbers, at least prepare what you are going to say
80K images
10 years = 3560 days
80K divided by 3560 = 22.47
Dude check your own numbers before you attack someone else
Theres 365 days in a year not 356!

I was never in it for the simple life and the million dollar income. I could stop tomorrow and never have to work a day in my life, but then why do I keep going? To be honest, the only thing I really care about is creating content that is mind-blowing and give buyers a "wow" experience. I want the most consistent, perfect, excellently executed collection everywhere I sell my images. I also want it to be available on the simplest, most intuitive and fastest platform thinkable. If I cared only for the income, I would not have students, neither would I do conferences nor interviews. I would only go for the "low hanging fruits" kind of images (and I know what they are) You can claim it nave, obsessed, or even stupid (as done here), but you cannot deny that if you were to spend your own money buying images, you would care a lot about these qualities. We are at a turning point, rather you like it or not or perhaps have not even seen it coming. In the midst of the masses of microstock, there is a growing frustration being built up, and it will not be solved by us just adding more content. Passion will prevail!
From zero to hero in no time you have earned the right to do as you wish and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Just a lot of people here wish they were like you are. You found the key and took off like others only dream of so POTA they are jealous.

The current Popular search is completely BS and wrong as of sometime yesterday if not before! I now have images that have never sold that are now the most "Popular" and they are three years old and were some of the ones i used to get approved. For instance number 22 of my most popular has never sold and is three years old so how can that be "Popular"? And a bunch of my what used to be most "Popular" are now more then 5 pages into my port? Sales have dropped while this has happened and yet before this everything was fine! My first page of most popular has more than 75% of the images from my last page of images from three years ago that were the first ones i submitted! So why is this happening? My what used to be my most popular top three are now #3 / #4 and #11??? What was my #1 most popular has dropped to #4 and my #2 is now #3 in front of my what used to be #1 and my #3 is now #11? Searching the site by keyword for one of my most popular that has always maintained number four status it is now number 61 so why the sudden drop? It is all EFFED up!

Here is the official reasoning behind similars! - You already have several very similar images in your portfolio or approved within this batch. If approved, these files will compete against each other for downloads thus diluting your sales. BS

They rejected a bunch of mine for similar and said that it would compete with my other images making less money for me to be had? I dont know about anyone else but when a buyer has more choices to choose from from you they will pick you because you have more to offer besides the similar rejected one may be the one the buyer is looking for!!!!!! And now it was trashed by the DT similar rejection staff.

i am always reading here about people paying for a model but yet on SS i read where nobody pays for a model, they do a CD for the shoot and they get a release and they use models from model mayhem or find someone on the street?
Anymore a model can become a real PITA because of what may happen if they see their image somewhere being used in a way that they dont like and then even though they signed a release they find a lawyer to sue and there are many cases where this is now a common problem.
From what i have read about models most people who shoot them have them come plain and then have a MUA do the MU on them at the shoot.
I myself use Family and self as a model and never use a MUA or use MU period! What guy in their right mind wants to put on MU? I am sure there are a few but that is not real.

I just had to comment....I am still in Kansas
Well excluding you and a few select others. What she actually said was:
Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas any more.
Just fun for the most common, misquoted quotes, like Bogart who never said "Play it again Sam..."
Ding dong the witch is dead the witch is dead the witch is dead ding dong the wicked witch is dead. Follow the yellow brick road! Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my!

Well as usual the similar BS strikes again!!!!
I mean what are you only allowed one shot of one image?
I took 6 different shots of one image from all different angles and all using different focal lengths and they hit me with the similar BS once again!
No wonder why i dont bother with them they come up with lame reasons to reject an image that sells well on every other site it is on!
Not to mention they are Editorial and i have close to 1000 i can upload but only allowed 35 a week and by the time they get done rejecting on "Similars" the 1000 will be lucky if it is 100!
What do you have to do? Kiss somebodies ashe and be a big time brown noser?

There is another problem created by the "too many similar"!
It gets you way to many unwarranted rejections allowing DT to cut back on the amount of images you can submit.
I have well over 500 or so editorials i could submit but they wont let me because they cut back on what i can submit in a week so i can't submit them all at once which is totally stupid on their part!

So why remove foods from overweight people? Why ban foods from menus or schools? Are people such morons that they can't decide what to eat, on their own? Kind of invasive and presumptuous, to try to regulate others food choices or lives. I think people need to spend more time on their own matters and issues and less telling others what to do and how to live.
There are some overweight people who are morons, but mostly I think that people are busy working and doing things, they just don't take time to cook anymore. Take a single mom who has to work, for example. She gets up and gets the kids to school. Goes to work. Has to do the job of 3 people now because the cheap-a$$ company laid off 1/3 of the workforce. Barely has time for lunch, and can't afford much else because the same cheapa$$ company also lowered her pay to close to minimum wage, so goes across the street to McDs. Gets off work, stops for food on way home because she's too tired from work. The kids end up eating the same garbage she does, because it's easier.
I don't want you to think I am making excuses for people, because I believe that if someone really wants to do something, they will find a way. I'm just saying that given a choice, a lot of people take the easy way out. So the kids end up learning the bad eating habits. And I totally believe that there is so much sugar in fast food, that it might as well have crack in it, because you almost get hooked on it the same way.
HAhahah! ROFLOL Absolutely true especially about the "Cheapa$$ Boss". They want you to work 12 hours a day for little or nothing to make them rich while they go out and play golf or do something else all the while joking and laughing with the other "Cheapa$$ Boss's" while you bust your a$$ for them. Cooking is out of the picture for working families anymore. Corporate America you gotta love it.

Someone once literally grabbed my arm to stop me from stepping out in front of a vehicle. I'm glad he didn't mind his own business.
On the other hand, when school meal menus go totally healthy, a lot of the pupils vote with their feet and go to Greggs or McDonalds, so it's not as simple as removing unhealthy foods from the menu in school canteens.
True. We used to go to the Pizza Parlor or to the seven eleven. There were no MickyD's nearby and even in a car it would have taken the whole lunchtime to get there and back and you would have had to feed your face like a pig on the way back. The 7-11 was to buy gum and squirt guns to resell back at School and make money but the Pizza Parlor was for the Pizza.

Their approval policy is just ridiculous. You think! To many similars, all different focal lengths from different angles with different lenses closeups, distances etc. Give me a break.

The double cheeseburger, Mcnuggets and fries are the best things that Micky D's has.
Chick Fillet has the best Chicken sandwich.
Subway doesn't know what a Sub is!
7-11 makes a decent pizza for the price.
I happen to like subway as they dont stack up their meats ridiculously high and have a lot of veggies in it. Thats a sensible sub to me. Im sure u prefer more meat.
We have too many overweight people with poor food choices that is causing our health care costs to sky rocket. Just goes to show that the average american doesn't have the best control of their diet. Part of that has to be based on marketing and big business.
As for your earlier post on the food police telling people what to eat or not. I think its messed up we have a profit based system which is encouraging companies to sell drinks with 100+ grams of sugar for pennies more. More sad is that the average consumer stays ignorant to this fact as long as their craving is fed.
They should post these signs http://www.sugarstacks.com/beverages.htm thats 186grams of sugar in a double big gulp! 744 calories. You still wont burn off those calories if you ran fast non stop for 45 mins.
Problem with Subway is and was that when they came out they were bragging about being like NY subs which they were so far away from it was a joke! They had no idea how to make subs and cut the bread wrong and put the mayo or mustard on the top of all the fixings just before they wrapped it up and it was pathetic! I asked a guy working there once to slice the bread open like a hotdog bun and then put the mayo on first and he had no idea how to cut the bread i had to show him how it was done! And i lived in NY for many years and know how subs are done and if i am paying for a sub it better be worth it and the ones at subway arent sorry. In NY they slice the bread then put on the mayo, mustard, oils and whatever then they hold the bread under the slicer and slice the meat right into the bun and ask if you want more then add the veggies of your choice to top it off and it usually weighs in around 2-3lbs all for the same price subway wants for a salad in bread as i would call it.

I'll bet 99% of this so called White Paper is misrepresenting and twisting the facts to gain readers or clicks or because someone is into conspiracy theories and plots.
Just had a good friend on Facebook claim that everything can be cured with minerals and the FDA is hiding the truth. Fluoridated water is bad for your teeth and dentists klnow it. OK, she just lost all credibility. Here I thought she had been taken up by the rapture ten years ago? (after she sold everything in preparation)
Some very intelligent people will be taken in by even new scheme, diet, food fear, that comes along. History is a nice way to see that none of this is new, including forced copyright protection claims and fears.
There are lots of conspiracies out there that are real. Now why no DUCK? Exciting new project by Racephoto coming soon!
