September numbers are 'average', but I want to write details of 2 specific sales i have in my september list:
Sale: gross earning $0.00067 - license fee $0.00449 - IStockphoto - Price per Image - USA - California ->Which means someone bought my image for '1/2 cent'?!
That's a pay per view scheme which is difficult for non-buyers to get any info about. Sale: gross earning $-0.60000 - license fee $-4.00000 - IStock Editorial - Premium Access Time - USA - New Jersey -> So the IStock customer got paid $4.00 for buying the image?! (The image is not THAT bad ;-)
Well, no. 60c is 15% of $4, so the buyer paid $4, you got 60c, but it looks like the sale was refunded.

Downloads up 11% on last month, and 8% up on last September. However, lack of good value Getty sales meant my average rpd was very poor ($1.34) so earnings are down 14% on August and down 17.5% compared to last Sept.

Also, The price for customers is in GBP and I get paid in USD without the current exchange rate being applied. (maybe I'm missing something)
for example on the home page of Alamy 'Pricing from 9.99' but a recent sale in my dashboard is 'Vector $ 9.99'
If you are in the UK, you see prices in GP, as with other agencies. Buyers outwith the UK see prices in their own currencies. Also prices in other countries vary, so they're not necessarily the equivalent of the prices you see.
That can be the same with physical goods in different countries. E.g. in India, many international products were much cheaper than they are here (UK).
If you're not a buyer, you'll see a much larger price than most buyers see, as most buyers have negotiated a discount, often a hefty discount.
As well as that, apparently they have regular pricing A/B type tests.
So you very seldom, if ever, will see sales of the value you might expect from the file page. That's the same at e.g. Getty.
I understand that other countries should see a different currency. I used a VPN in the past to test what you are saying. I remember it always being in GBP with various countries. Without a VPN. I'm in Canada and I'm seeing GBP pricing.
Strange, it's not what I've read in the past, maybe things have changed. Really doesn't matter to me too much because the number of sales are so low. It's not worth the time.
Yeah, that's probably the case for most people. Live News togs probably do best there. I've only ever once read of anyone say they did better on Alamy than any of the micros - he seemed to be a strange bloke altogether, but eventually it turned out he had thousands of photos on Alamy, and well under a hundred (sic, <100) on his only micro, iS.

Last two sales were $119 and $120 (exclusive images) so that's looking a bit better.
Net? Well done - you're obviously doing something right. My last two netted me $6.74 and 63c!
Nah gross, thats why I said a bit better. Still far from what it should be for exclusive RM images.
I tend to think it's a bit unfair to quote gross, in case it wrongly excites people who don't submit there yet. For avoidance of doubt, mine are also exclusive RM. Both of my last two sales - only two this month - happened to be distributor, which to be fair we can opt out of.

All of which doesn't help the OP. I hope you get a reply from Adobe accepting that your contract is with Canada therefore there is no reason for you to be cut off from their software and stock sales. Failing that, I hope your sales pick up at your other outlets.

Case in point. My niece was having a baby in the UK. She had only the UK healthcare not the supplement insurance which you can purchase in the UK at a high cost. They would only allow her to use the UK birthing center for her baby deliver. She was 40 years of age and argued that she wanted to have the baby delivered in the UK hospital. Not allowed by UK folks for her. Sure enough she nearly lost her life and the baby's. Her blood pressure shot up to extremes during the birth at the birthing center. They did rush her and the baby after the birth to a proper hospital and they had to stay a week in the hospital to get all corrected. All worked out but she and her baby were very close to going to the next world. If she would of had the supplement insurance as she told me she would have been allowed to have her baby at the UK hospital. This was all in London. Best health care, I don't think so....
No-one said it was best, it's #18. http://worldpopulationreview.com/countries/best-healthcare-in-the-worldI had to look up 'birthing centre', as there are none near me, it's all maternity units. However, I remember there being a LOT of pressure by mothers in the past to have more midwife, less doctor, involvement in births. Glad your niece and baby are doing well. However, I have often read, for many years that maternity provision is poor in the US, and that seems still to be the case. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/the-u-s-needs-more-midwives-for-better-maternity-carehttps://www.mhtf.org/topics/maternal-health-in-the-united-states

Coincidentally enough, Texas ranks #37 in health care in the U.S. Maybe that's why Jagger didn't go to Texas for his operation.
Why didn't he get his operation in the UK if the care is better there and free?
He has a base in NY as well as other places, so maybe it was just more convenient at the time? Sorry, I have no more insight into Sir Mick's decision than anyone else here. If a US celebrity endorsement is what you need/want , Johnny Depp's daughter's life was saved by Great Ormond Street Hospital, an NHS children's hospital in London (as she was in the UK at the time) and he was delighted by her treatment there. https://tinyurl.com/yxso862y

Please start another company for your charity aspirations and stop using contributor commissions to make you look generous. It's a bit of a sham
Alamy IS the company they set up for their charity aspirations, i.e. to fund their family charities.

He is from the UK and they have really poor free health care.
So says Trump. It's not perfect, but we have a higher average life expectation than the US Not even sure if Mic would have been cover because of his old age in the UK.
What? It's private health care that cuts you off or charges you much more at certain age points. My Mum fell and broke her hip at 90 and was operated on, no questions.

It's hard to fathom how tone deaf you have to be - how little you understand your contributor community - to post here about how you're taking a portion of profits to donate to charities (all of which I'm sure are most worthy).
Not once, but twice you've pleaded the business needed a larger share of the gross as your reason for cutting royalty payments to contributors (in the time I've been with Alamy).
From my perspective, that's our money that you have decided to donate to charities on our behalf. Don't expect me, and I suspect many other contributors, to feel good about that.
I don't think that's how it works. I think the only reason Alamy exists is to help fund these charities, i.e. that's what it was set up for.

It's a pay per view scheme, not well explained anywhere that we can see.
Thank you, hope IS can be more transparent...
Dream on!

I've read reports of people being paid dribs and drabs many months after quitting.
Many of the late payments relate to partner sites. They don't guarantee to get your assets off partner sites fast.

I could solve this by closing my account at EyeEm as it's really not bringing in much any more, but it's just crazy that Alamy didn't weed out duplicates.
It's not something they seem to do. A few months back I did a particular search and in the very first page were 6 images each repeated four times. I checked and each of the four was one direct submission by the tog and three pics uploaded by three partner agencies. So he had a 3 in 4 chance of having his earnings split by a partner. What ruffled my feathers more was these were all on the first page of a multi-page search result (and mine were all below them!)

Go to Sales, then click Gross Royalty to reorder your sales from least amount, so the larges refund comes at the top. Ignore the probably many 'refunds' you got in Jan 2017: these were apparently never sales, it was just Getty testing the system when it was introduced to iS.
I also cannot see any refunds, but clearly do not understand what I am seeing.
I start at the ESP login, the go to "royalties." I don't see a place to see 'sales' or what was sold or for what price? (I attached a screenshot, but it does not seem to show up here...)
It's easier and prettier with Deep Meta and/or TodayIs20.

Not bad for August. I can't see any refunds.
Can you see refunds from DM?

I had 26 refunds, 25 of them being from Australia. Each one was followed by a smaller sale for the same image.
Seems it's a renegotiation with Canva, applied retrospectively.

from info earlier on this thread, on their forum thead and other forums, it seems that iS had a deal with Canva, which was renegociated for a much lower price, and in retrospect!
BTW, this happens with Alamy too: if a buyer reaches a threshold, they can get a reduction applied retrospectively.

Can anyone help me? I want to contact support and ask them a question but I can't seem to find how. I always end up in their faq section.
Right at the bottom of the FAQ page is their link to 'contact us'. At this moment, however, ticking on that link leads to an error message: "Oops! An unexpected error has occurred. The error may be transient but has been logged. If you continue to encounter problems, you can contact customer support. Click here to contact customer support."Hahaha, obviously that link just comes round to the error message again, as the error page is the 'contact cusotmer support' page. Try later or tomorrow! Later: now working: https://accountmanagement.gettyimages.com/Help/SupportTicket
