General Stock Discussion / Re: Keymasters Program Dreamstime?

With 1000 images, you would have to spent 600$ for  them to keyword your images. How are sales going at DT right now, or should I say, they're not going anywhere, you would probably need 10 years, to get that money back...

Hobbyists buy their equipment for hobby purposes, so basicaly they dont have to get "their costs back". Every $ they earn is basically plus form them, since they didn't buy equipment for selling photos but for themselves.

This announcement closely followed by a flurry of refund emails. I hate IStock.

Funny, I also got one refund e-mail. My first at IS.

That's weird, there's a lot of vectors in database, like a logo? Why would then someone create vector-logo if those are not allowed to be used as logo?

I found his port on Fotolia, thera are tons of similars....if you remove that, his port would probably shrink to 500....

It amazaes me, how people upload tons of almost identical photos and then come here and say I have 5000 files and almost no sales"....stupid..

What would be 7.84 sale?

EDIT: 8.25 sale minus 0.42 taxes.

I had 8.000 images in my portfolio. I had 2-3 sales per day. Few days ago I uploaded 2.500 new images, got aproved arrount 2.200 images on the same day! But I did not notice any change in  my salees whatsoever! I still god 1-2 sale per day, LOL. I think it is time to say godbye to SS.

With 8000 images having 2-3 sales per day, I would say that your images sucks.

Maybe we should all pretend that we are customers and those spammy titles hurt our searches, that would be even more helpful, I think...

Twitter would be good choice too, I think, anyway, it's a nice idea. What did you write on their wall?

I think, you just have to have the right image at the right place at the right time. For example, I uploaded 2 almost identical photos of Hare, the only difference was position of it's ears. The one, that I uploaded more than two years ago didn't sell more than 15 times. The one, that I uploaded this January sold more then 80 times so far, actualy it's the first image on page 1, if you search for "hare".....

It's shown under Enhanced downloads....But I guess, if it wasn't allowed, customers wouldn't have option to buy Editorial as EL?

My October sales are good. Anyway, my sales at Fotolia suddenly dropped for about 30-40% in mid June, and June, July, August were some of my worst months in a year. After I synced my account with Adobe, my sales increased again, I don't know, if this is just coincidence or it has something to do with it. Now, I know that summersmonths are slow, but that sudden drop was just to big....

As for SS, lokks like I'm going to have BME with $ thanks to 2 EL's and 2 SODs and probably also with number of sales.

Is it possible (allowed) to sell Editorial image as EL? I'm asking because I had EL sale of Editorial photo yesterday....
