Crestock.com / Re: Crestock wants bug/error reports for 50 credits« on: September 29, 2009, 03:43 »so what they give you 50 image credits .. meaning you can spend 50 credits on buying images? That's what it sounded like to me. In any case that is some pretty lame business practice. Which most likely has nothing to do with actual bug detection but more of a desperate marketing tactic. If they are honestly to the point of paying off users to "beta test" the system .. they need to fire all their coders and hire new ones. Sounds more like a goofy strategy to get people talking about Crestock ... ummmm and what are we doing? LOL The same thing got on my mind too. But, lets hope they will pay us. 930

Photo Critique / Re: Next try at iStock - request for adviced and feedback« on: September 26, 2009, 07:46 »
Just fix the sky, and your Big Ben is ready. I like the chess photo too.
Pray mantis looks like it could be fixed (regarding focus). Maybe just a bit sharpening on the head...or maybe just a bit of local contrast could make it look sharp. Try this: 1. Copy layer with mantis 2. Go to Filters/Other/High pass, and adjust it to 1,2, then apply 3. Set the mode for the layer with high pass filter to overlay 4. Put a mask on the same layer, click it to select it in layers palette, and click ctrl+i to invert it to black 5. Take white brush while the mask is selected and paint over mantis head to make a hole in the mask just to uncover the head of the mantis The isolation on the left leg still doesn't look as it should be. Somewhere the edge of the leg looks blurred, and somewhere it looks too sharp. Also, there are some stray points just below the left foot. Also, I think all images should look just a bit more bright, while keeping white and black in the same level. 934

General Stock Discussion / Re: Time to use the blur tool?« on: September 25, 2009, 10:50 »whitechild, you submitted the bottom image and it got accepted? How did you get it accepted with that logo on the guys back? Your original image doesn't even have a person there. So this is a composite image too? Wow, if I haven't misunderstood, you did well to get that accepted at five sites. I can never get logos OR composites accepted. Sorry, my mistake. The original image is at the bottom, and edited is above. I just corrected my post. ![]() 943
General Stock Discussion / Re: Time to use the blur tool?« on: September 25, 2009, 10:24 »
Don't blur faces cause I'm sure it won't be approved by reviewer. Clone them out if you can. Look at this image, and see how big objects I cloned out. Also, I had to clone half of the village and the valley to fill the gap. The image was accepted at several sites. It was rejected at few agencies because of poor lens quality.

Guys, can you please add some threshold option for sound notifications in Picniche?
I mean, I don't want to hear "ping-ping" every time I earn $0,03. It's OK to see green numbers above, but for example, I don't want to hear the sound for referral earnings less than 15 cents. 947
