Envato / Re: Photodune, Thoughts?

PD did great for me till January, now since then basically dead as well. Few bucks a month. Real shame, it was looking so promising.

Yaymicro / Re: Has anyone had any sales?
« on: March 12, 2012, 02:05 »
Think Yay must have just posted some 3rd party sales - anyone else notice that? It's down on previous 3rd party earnings unfortunately, but then I heard they were phasing it out so not surprising.

Congrats Zsolt! And the affiliate program works, already got 1 for you! :)

Pixmac / Re: Is Pixmac Worth It?
« on: March 07, 2012, 18:36 »
wow, really Lisa? That seems like a very easy thing for Pixmac to fix. I hope they take your suggestion on board. Although they're not alone - I find CanStocks monthly reporting terrible too, way too vague.

But glad for the feedback guys, thanks a lot

And have You checked? None of my 760 files on YAY appear to be on Pixmac ( have opt-in since begin ) ... And as I see, they will not be there before 2020. It's true that I've changed some emails with pixmac/yaymicro CR and they said that would be a question of weeks ( last year )....

Yep I checked before posting this thread. Not ALL my images are there, but about 3/4.

Thinking I'll give them a go.

Pixmac / Is Pixmac Worth It?
« on: March 05, 2012, 18:54 »
Let's get an update here: Is it worth uploading to Pixmac?

My images are there anyway through Yay's API program, but of course a direct upload would make images rank higher in searches and more royalties etc.

Is anyone actually seeing sales from direct uploads to Pixmac? Is it worth it?

933
Sales have definitely improved for me. Getting way more than I used to, but royalties are just SO LOW.

Dreamstime.com / Re: Is DT alive ?
« on: March 05, 2012, 17:27 »
Absolutely alive and well. Probably best start to a month in the last 6 months. Nice mixture of old and new files, and sub and credit sales.

I too am finding that some of my level 3 files are starting to pick up pace, which I thought would go the other way and slow down. But pleasant surprise nonetheless.

123RF / Re: Referral program at 123rf not working?
« on: March 04, 2012, 02:04 »
Where does it state the referral program ends after 1 year? Could just be me having a 'man look', but I couldn't find it.

I thought 123rf was perpetual?

Pretty decent month, lot better than Feb last year, but then again my port has increased a lot too.

Good mix of subs and credit sales.

Has anyone got any Single's from anywhere other than the USA?

Ha, yeah it does :) But seriously, I can't complain. SS outdid itself by adding about 25% to it's previous BME! Now that's a good monthly increase. If only that would be the case every month!

BME for me too, but have to agree, Mon-Wed this week has been terrible. Lucky the rest of the month was so great!

I sometimes have this issue with particular browsers. I try another browser and it then works fine. Just an idea.

New Sites - General / Re: Zoonar - EPS Files?
« on: February 23, 2012, 17:07 »
ah ok, so maybe I'll just stick to the raster versions then. Seems odd to limit your market by not being able to properly implement EPS files though.

Thanks for the advice. :)

wow glad it's not just me. So I'm not going crazy after all....

Still doesn't seem to make much sense that it's somewhat browser dependent...?

Ah, not going to bother with the screen grab, just rest assured I'm not making this up!

Interesting thoughts zager, hadn't considered that was even a possibility!

Has anyone else tried Safari on this page?

General Stock Discussion / Re: Online Backup
« on: February 20, 2012, 21:13 »
I know a lot of photogs just use 'mostphotos' because you can download all your own files at any time

Your requirements sound pretty unusual though, not sure if that will suffice for what you need.

Here's my referral link in case it will do for you

www.mostphotos.com?ref=19291

....After re-reading your post though, i'm guessing you don't have 350,000 stock images, but just images that you don't want for sale.

The only option I've ever tried is creating a HDD backup that I leave a friends place and update it each week or month depending on your needs. But that doesn't sound as pro as what you're after! Hmm, will have to give that more thought...This could be an interesting thread...

About 1000 images and lucky to get a couple bucks per month.

One of my worst agencies sadly.
