My e-mail notifications are working. Only now, they come from "Adobe stock" not Fotolia. But at first I got e-mails in "Promotions" tab, maybe you should check there, (if you use gmail...).

Don't trust these polls....

I don't get it. Why would buyer need contributors' name? I thought they only care for image, that they need. Why would they care, who is owner of the file? It makes no sense...

I think there's something else behind this, maybe they want to go around agency and buy directly from contributor?

I signed up and I think my account converted automatically, I can see the TAx form says updated already, so I guess I don't need to do anything....

if we upload to Adobe, does the image appears on Fotolia?

Your question has been anwsered multiple times in the first two pages....

All other (sub) sales, after and before SOD sale are showing on a MAP. Weird stuff....

I also have 1 SOD sale that isn't showing on the map. All other sales prior to that are showing on the map.

Reviev time is totaly different , sometimes is a day, sometimes, 2, sometimes 5. Sometimes I upload 10 files, 3 get reviewed the next day, the rest 3 days later, so, there is no "formula" how soon images are reviewed.

Your work is so spectacular, that you're username is on "Auto accept"....

That question is easily anwserable: Write down your total number of sales, then wait for video sale, check again total number of sales, take away downloads of photos and there you have it...

965
So I went and searched for myself, even if you put in search isolated, white background, there's tons of food containing tomatoes, pizza, hamburgers etc..., that are isolated on white...

There's a lot of tomatoes, agree, but definitely not 300.000....

Rinderart is actually correct in his statement believe it or not but I even personally know a few very large contributors with portfolios of over 10.000 files that left some time in August.
I suppose they try out other ways of making their pictures pay or they don't relish the idea of being stuck among 100 million files. There are quite a few joining up with the macro agencies although I cant see how that can generate more income.

ya, me too!!! the numbers as who??? shelma??? says won't make a dent in ss shareholders-carrot bolstering inventory numbers, but personally, they are the smart ones .
remember we learn nothing from history... viz istock... when only a handful left
while the rest, like here today with ss, we keep hanging on... grumble... hoping oringer will
listen and change ss to shift backwards to the old days!!!

i don't think that is ever going to happen. deja-vu is what's going to happen..
istock all over again, and by the time the man leaves laughing with money in his big large oversize
wallet, we will all once again like istock-ers, be left holding the bags of nothing !!!

the smart ones left a long time ago...already, like you said!!!
i like to be with them, but my position is not life-threatening, micro is just a tiny portion
of my income, and it is not a priority, other than to chuck the moon
and cuss like everyone here .
..
as rinderhart says..just killing time here... between glasses of wine !!!

Why are you complaining then in every single post you make?

What points? Your level changes, when you reach certain number of downloads. There is no "points"....Maybe 1 video sale counts for more downloads...

Could the new DepositPhotos' "DollarPhotoClub" have anything to do with lower sales (especially fewer ODs) on SS?

Even if that was true, you wouldn't notice that in just a weekor two.. My September is good, my second best month for $$$....thanks to EL and SOD. In terms of number of sales it's about my average....

I knew that emailing them for review wasn't such a good idea. They reviewed them today, but lots of files rejected for "poor comosition".

So what are the benefits if we already upload to Fotolia?
Why should we move to the new site?

Thanks for the great feedback everyone. Keep in mind, this is a beta site so more features will be released as time goes on. Your input it very helpful. Right now, the bulk of the features will benefit contributors new to the submission process. We are working to simplify the upload process for everyone. As the beta site evolves, I expect you will begin to see more and more features that are advantageous to your workflow. If you are content with the Fotolia upload experience, there is no reason for you to change at this time though I still recommend you sync your accounts and take a look.

There are currently several specific features that you may like as existing contributors.

In the Adobe Stock contributor portal you will find the auto-keywording tool which is helpful if you are not adding your metadata in advance.

In addition, you can drag and drop your images into the web uploader which was a feature many have asked for. There is not a limit as to how many images you can drop at once which was another feature requested by many.

Also, something else that will be useful for some of you is that in the portal you can edit the keywords and title of your existing content if necessary.

-Mat

If I understand correctly, you can add/remove keywords and titles from files, that were already accepted and are online? If that is true, I will for sure upload through adobe.stock.

Yep, adding/deleting keywords and changing titles, after acceptance, is now possible! Nice step forward compared with the FT portal!

How do you do that?

Nevermind, I got it...

My sales are OK. I had also one 60$ SOD (biggest so far) so I'm pleased...

...when is 20,000 tomatoes by example enough???...

The count is even scarier :) For all media types, it's 1,371,634

For photos only, it's just 1,285,086... That's a lot of tomatoes.

Even marijuana photos are up to 52,257

The current phase of taking almost anything has rendered the Most Recent search useless - there's so much rubbish to wade through. And here we have someone new wondering why he has no sales - one look at the accepted files explains that.

That doesn't mean there are 1.371.634 images of single tomatoe. That inclued all kinds of food etc...

Here is the FREE part:
Quote
Features:
  • Get a free image if you are one of the first 25,000 people to   install the plug-in!

While I detest this kind of advertising too, after looking at the comments I have to laugh...heaven forbid they should actually have to PAY for an image. By now you would think that most people would know that nothing is free and when you see the word FREE you should read the fine print because it is probably a scam.

It's not that they have to pay for image, it's about misleading.
