The Q at SS takes a while! I have ten clips sitting there. Yes computer rendered backgrounds and animation sell the best. You are not shooting a movie just a filler most people have the footage they need but backgrounds for titles they do not want to take the time to make. I am working on a short cartoon series with good humor and taste. All silent except for some sound effects. Hope it works. IS gets my clips reviewed in about 4 days.

I have clips at both sites, I do backgrounds and animation, I hope it takes off as the payout is much better and I really enjoy doing it. I would prefer the structure of SS but IS seems to have a better marketing advantage.

I have about 7 other sites I post to and nothing to amazing as far as earnings go yet. However I joined SS about 10 days ago and I have 25 downloads with only 22 pictures online! WoW is this normal?? I sure hope so. Now I am giving more energy to SS.

I have Photoshop Elements 3 but I dont not have to do into it to often for a lot of my stock. iPhoto has decent and easy tools for adjustments on my RAW files which I enjoy shooting. How do I do it in PSE 3? If you don'tmind

I like to submit photos to stock sites but one of the drawbacks was not having any easy way to make my keywords IPTC so that I could upload them with my photo and save time. Well Apple has this little Script called "Caption Buddy" You select you photo and you have a seperate little window in which to write a title and keywords. You then go to the top enbed the infor to the photo and convert it to IPTC it works perfect! I uploaded to the site that accept IPTC and it was all there. I had to move it from Description to Keywords but that was easy. Hope this helps someone! I am using iPhoto 6.02 on 10.3.9 PowerMac G4, Dose this app still work on Intel Macs?

I know how to do that but I will have to wait and see if I can insert keywords there and if it will be IPTC for uploads to stock sites. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I think I will keep "high moral charcter" for now or I will say I reserve the right to refuse any project. I am trying my best to get more pictures on my stock sites. I need more time! Thanks for the comments it is very helpful

I say because I do not like to shoot nudes or provoctive pictures. I know this is art for some and I am judging them in any way! I have to say this on my site so that I can refuse any project that I am not comfortable with. Thanks for the compliment! It is encouraging to hear

I was wondering if anyone has had success with this site? I like the pricing and the way it is setup. What are your thoughts? www.keenimages.com

I am glad they give a secound chance! How about istock? do they give one. The people at totallyphoto were the best to deal with! very helpful. At all the others I have only had one rejection. I plan on adding good quality images each week for one solid year and see where I am at. It would be nice to reach $1000.00 per month in a year or two.

Well it was my fault as I rushed in pictures and did not pay enough attention to detail. I am accepted at totallyphoto,123rf,fotolia I am waiting on istock to get back to me. I have asked shutter stock if I can still submit footage. This seems easier and I noticed that if your footage gets approved you are approved for photo's automatically. Humm so if anyone has not signed on yet go the footage route and it will be faster as easier. IT is sad to get rejected but I guess I needed to learn a lesson. I will focus on building up my stock and when I try again I will have a bigger stock folder to start with.
