They sent me an email on Dec, 2nd regarding possible "fluctuations" in the earnings display and that they will sort it out - mine have been correct since Dec, 3rd...

Usually I have at least one sale per day on 123RF, but this month there is a "hole" in my statistics with no sales from 15th to 25th...

Also they paid me on time (15th or 16th), but the earning stats reflected this payment only ten days later. So I strongly suspect they had a major issue with their database. Can't say if there haven't been any sales, or if they just haven't been reported...

I'm not with PM but I wonder if this is stated in their terms when you sign up.  I ask because if that is indeed the case, PM should provide you with a list of their partner sites so you can personally verify the images are removed. Otherwise, how would you ever know if your images were removed?

I had a case a couple of years ago where I closed an account and someone sent me a link months later of a site that was selling my underwater work.  After I inquired, sure enough it was a partner site to the one I closed months earlier.  After I contacted them, they said sorry, we will remove them promptly and they did. But the point is they kept selling. Wouldn't an API set up deactivate images instantly on partner sites? I assume each partner site has their own terms, too, which complicates the whole area of image management.

I signed up with them in 2008, I think, and I don't think there were any Partner sites at that time. Technically you're right of course, but at the rate they are selling my photos on their own as well as on the Partner sites they are welcome to have them... I didn't just say that out loud, did I? 

Now and then I got $0.06 (6 cents) royalties, does anyone know what these are?

How did you do that?

I just replied to the e-mail they sent me regarding the "adjustments" and asked for termination and removal of my photos from PM and all Partner sites. They answered - in the affirmative - within 24 hours.

Sorry ,missed this thread and posted on the other. They don't even say that. There's no guarantee they will let you delete your images even if you ask them to delete the whole portfolio. This is the worst.

I just received the following email from Getty/IStock:

"One part of the Unification project is to move contributor tools from iStock.com to shared back office systems across Getty Images and iStock. Once Unification is complete towards the end of the year, you will have new tools available to you to view sales, download and account information, and upload content (DeepMeta and qHero will still be available as well).

In the meantime, between August 20th (or shortly thereafter) and until contributor tools are fully unified, there are some important changes to let you know about:
When you visit the ADP for one of your files, you will no longer see the "Manage File" toolbar.

Instead, you will be able to view your download history, number of views and number of downloads on your My Uploads page, located under Contributor Tools, as well as third-party applications where supported.
 
You will also be able to edit titles and descriptions from your My Uploads page (by selecting the file ID), as well as third-party applications where supported. Please note that select files may be "locked" for editing due to various SEO initiatives.

You will no longer be able to edit your keywords via iStock.com or other third-party applications once submitted. Please ensure that your files are properly prepared and edited prior to uploading them to iStock.com and note that the option to edit keywords after submission will be removed from third-party applications shortly, prior to August 20th. (The functionality for editing keywords may still appear on the file edit page, but it no longer supports updates to iStock.com. In fact, you may have already noticed that keyword updates are not being reflected on the ADP and/or do not surface in search results.)

I find the whole email disturbing, but the bolded part (by me) is really scary. Am I reading this wrong, or won't it be possible in the future to control my files one by one (or only if IS/Getty deems the reasons to be "justifiable")?

That's normal fluctuation.  It's perfectly normal to sometimes have 90 and other  days 110.  If it was 40 today then you would have reason to be concerned.

Not to support IS here, but the "Panoramafreiheit" applies to public ground (as in streets, boardwalks,...). The "Englische Garten" is most certainly not public ground, but is rather governed by the "Bayerische Schlösserverwaltung" - this is where the castle comes from...

Do you send IS editorial sports photos and do they accept them? Because I seem to rememeber, that back in the days when they introduced editorial, sport photography was excluded from the acceptable standards?
