Still very very slow for me. Feels like loading a webpage on dialup from the late 90s.

all content deleted at the beginning of 2023,no regrets. :)

Same here. I urge everyone else to do the same. Abysmal site for contributors.

Envato has always been a garbage company that treats their contributors like trash. Consider this the last straw for me. Removed all my files and good riddance.

I do my taxes by the cash method ::).  It's what comes into my account during the year.  I don't really care what any of the agencies report.

The IRS will care. If an agency reports something that you don't report, they're going to be asking you some questions.

No, they won't.

Oh ok.  ::)  If the IRS thinks you didn't pay taxes on a 1099, they will be sending you a letter. Not sure why you think otherwise.

Anyone know when this is going to be fixed? I need to file my taxes.

Don't you record the payments you receive?  You don't actually need a 1099 in hand.

Thank you both. Of course I can look at what I've received but if Dreamstime decides to erroneously report this number (which they've demonstrated they are more than capable of), I'm going to be surprised by the IRS with a notice of unpaid tax due. I kind of like to know they got it right.

Yes, all agencies (with the exception of Envato) want to offer the largest database of crap, while at the same time offering a curated 'premium' section to ensure they don't lose their important clients.

And it looks like the system is working for those that opened up their inspection process. Envato seems to be in a death spiral for a lot of the microstock sectors they tried to break into.

Envato is a bad partner for contributors with bad policies and deserves to fail.

They've commented on this and the reason is that they are paying out subs from the previous royalty structure now in order to transition to the new royalty structure.

All you have to do is click on Edit underneath the file number in My Uploads. Then click on the gray Save button at the bottom right. Go back to My Uploads and do a screen refresh. Done.

This does not work for many stuck files. They are aware of the problem. The best solution at this point is to reupload them and hope they don't get stuck a second time.

Did you dredge up this old thread for a reason?

Wow, as the original artist of that mountain graphic. That hurts. :(

It's bad enough that my sales continue to plummet on iStock but then you have people ripping you off as well. Did anyone report it? Should I report it?

edit: I've submitted a ticket to iStock. Who knows when it will be handled.

edit2: Is there a way I can send a DMCA myself? Does anyone have resources for me to do that?

If they cut the royalty percentages again, many more exclusives will leave. It's already nearly unsustainable for exclusives with plummeting sales.

the painted flags on their faces are of different countries- Germany, Sweden and Italy from what I can see...

Definitely Germany, Spain and Italy. Not Sweden.

My wife pointed this out to me a few weeks ago. It's stupid to think a bunch of different white women is a good representation of diversity.

Wow! Nice and early this month.

This week has been real rough for me. Looking at my port in best match sort seems to indicate that's it's changed yet again.

October is on track to be my worst month on istock in 5 years (since December 2006). That's pretty pathetic to say the least.

I just wanted to chime in and second what nico said here. I'm not nearly as big a fish and this last week has been abysmal. Some of the worst regular business days for sales I've had since 2007 at least (not including holiday weeks/days).
