I bought a Olympus Pen last Winter and i love it so much that i rarely use my D200 anymore.
All the micro 4/3s Cameras are fabulous in terms of size/quality and i can really recommend getting a compact EP-X or GF-X and the Panasonic 20mm 1,7 lens and you have an outstanding compact System which fits into my Jacket.
You also get Adapters for any System so you can use all the lenses you have if you want.
The E-P1 even outperforms my D200 in terms of high ISO.
The only thing you have to be attentive is slightly reduced DR (but for sure it won´t be as much reduced as it would be with a smaller Sensor camera like S90).
I f you want to see some examples (sorry they are just private shots and no stock material) the following images are all done with the Olympus E-P1 and most of them with the 20mm lens:

I thought with Lightroom one can do pro raw processing...

I am trying Capture One 5 right now and it´s a hell of a raw editor! No problem with chromatic aberration (and auto corrected) and a great interface (very similar to Lightroom). The only downside is that it is very slow on my macbook but i can still work with it (at least it´s much faster than Olympus Master 2).

I am not a pro photographer and not a megaselling microstock superstar so i do not have the money for a fullframe camera with prime lenses.
I do have a D200 with some Nikon and some Sigma lenses which i can control relatively good in pp and i am not asking for.
The camera which causes theese issues (if you are interested) is the Olympus Pen. I bought it with the 20mm 1,7 lens from Panasonic as the ultimative quality compact which i have with me all the time when i leave the house.
In fact it is a great camera with wonderful color and great contrast being tack sharp with the 20mm lens.

Does anybody have a link for this pf fixer?

i have to deal with fringe and complex chromatic aberrations. Do you have good tutorials / books to recommend on this topic?

I do mostly of the things in Lightroom but when the distortions get nasty you can´t fix it in Lightroom anymore. I am not a Photoshop Guru, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi daniel,

I Export the Images, drop them into Folders which names are Serial numbers and write the names of the agencies into Textfiles of the same name. I don't track which image is where accepted. This would possibly a nice feature but i don't know why exactly i would need it.
The portfolio is online and i can see which images are in which port anytime i want to.
Nice would be something to keep track of the sales of an image across all agencies.

i was looking at the table of the Earning Schedule and for the first time noticed that there are two columns for partner sites at the end of the listing.

In my earnings table there is no column for thoose sales and i never heard of them. Does Shutterstock submit to images to partner sites?

hi,

i have a series of images from last summer where the subject (a sculpture) is against a blue sky. All these images have a very complex form of chromatic aberration which i can´t clear with LR2, LR3 Beta, PS Raw Converter. Whenever the aberration on one place of the image is cleared it creates one at another place.
I also tried some other techniques i read about on the internet. one thing i tried was replacing the color which is very problematic because the same cyan is in the sky. Another technique was to reduce the channel with the strongest aberration (the blue one) for about 99,93% which helps on one side but creates distortions on the other side.

I don´t know how to deal with this but i really need to save this images.

does someone have a working technique or a software that can deal with that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

there are some more things i consider ;-)

i think i will buy this great little camera next week.

i don´t think i will buy the e-p2 as i don´t want to pay that mach for thoose (to me rather small) changes. I didn´t find much info which things really changed from e-p1 to e-p2, but i think the sensor is the same. i don´t need the viewfinder and i don´t care if the af is slightly faster (and has af-c).

for focusing speed i would like to know if soemone figured out if there is a way to use the 17mm lens with hyperfocal distance?
i know this won´t be easy because one would have to gauge the distance and then manually focus on that point.
i could shoot from the hip like in good old times with my lc-a 
does anybody use leica lenses in hyperfocal distance and is it working well?

I also looked at the panasonic gf1 but at the moment i think the e-p1 will be my choice.
i think i can live with a slower af for better lens comparability, in body is and higher dynamic range.

i am thinking about getting a e-p1 as it´s size and weight is perfect as "always have it with me" cam.
Does anybody use it for Stock?
I am working with a D200 and am wondering if th iq is compareable?
I have heard of some "blacklisted" cameras at alamy does anybody know which cameras are affected?

I like the idea of small cameras with interchangeable lenses a lot and if the iq is great maybe i will even sell my d200 and fully rely on the e-p1.

I would like to know what you think about it and how the e-p1 is suitable for stock.
