Great, but is the actual process for uploading footage on Symbiostock (I haven't used it for photos).
I used to have a footage website and it was incredibly time consuming to manage the still previews, footage previews and actual file for download. It's ok for a few files but not for a library of a few hundreds files.

note: the swf previews are not loading on my side

Is there any updates on the video side?

According to the forums, they are working on it... bla bla bla...

istock's staff must get bonuses each time the broke something!
Their incompetence is just depressing....

They are probably busy working on new ways to screw up contributors

Sales dead, no more content going to Getty = No more exclusive upload

What I don't really like is the review per batch, which takes several weeks between each review.
It would be good to have reviews done at shorter intervals and shorter batches.

Yes, basically they could have wrote it like that:  "We screwed up again, but don't worry we will try fix it in September"

Apparently you missed the part where it says that NO NEW FILES will be accepted as Signature Plus.

They can be transferred as S+ after a period of time if the file performs well. Well, the time considered for those moves and criteria are top secret info that istock is not willing to share.

I honestly can't see how on Earth this is beneficial to exclusives.  They have seen huge drops in downloads, and more recently earnings.  How is giving away indie content for practically nothing going to reverse that trend??

Maybe they want to force exclusives to migrate their portfolios to Getty images...

Independents see a drop of RPD, but on another side, they do not have ANY upload limit anymore.

Nothing related tot he micro stock crowd here. You mean we should write off thousands of files already on istock and hope that it will work again?

The funny part will be when Yuri will drop the crown to submit to multiple sites again. With the current changes on istock, his sales must be one third of what he expected

Can you choose to place your file only in RM on Photographer's Choice?

On another side, they are also releasing the standards for Vetta acceptance. It is easier to get in than it used to be. Also, I have sold more vettas in the last 10 days than in the last 9 months (normal sales are getting a new free fall though)

 They have promised. They have also promised a lot of other things

So, not that I m very surprised, they screwed up again. Some files are being removed from Getty....
