Dreamstime.com / Re: New Pricing from Dreamstime

That is a great increase for us!

I still think that Dreamstime's image level system is one of the best.  Great images that sell over and over are boosted into the higher earning bracket and continue to sell at the high price, while other images, perhaps less desirable stay cheaper.  If the cheap images are better they will be very attractive to buyers and will be quickly boosted up to a higher image level.  Since the rank increases are done on a per image basis - not entire portfolio basis, so someone who is new to the site can benefit just as much as someone who has been online for 5 years.

I totally agree with you :)

Hi arquiplay77,
I'm not sure but I think there is a sort of threshold: if you earn more than X in a year you must declarate those earnings and pay taxes. This is simple to distinguish amateurs from pros.

Saludos

it appears that Spain actually is the country in Western Europe making it the hardest to become a self-employed person, especially if you try to do it as a secondary income.

Did you consider Italy in your research? :)

Credits will range from 0.97 to 1.30, same as today, although packages will change.

but credits don't range from 0.95 to 1.20 today?

I think this raise prepares the road to the "megapixel upgrade":
8 MP --> Medium
12 MP --> Large
16 MP -->XLarge
What do you think?

Miss Teen USA

That poor girl.  :-[
When I first saw it I thought poor education system, not poor girl. That girl got more press than the actual winner.

A few years ago I worked for a scientific organisation here in Switzerland. One year we held a big conference down in Sicily ... and it was big, several Nobel Prizewinners attended.

An American doctor working on AIDS for the US Army Medical Corps came, and not only did she insist on bringing all her own food - boxes and boxes and boxes of it - but she also brought all her own bottled water.

We had a bit of a giggle about that. The bottled water was Evian.

Just curiosity ant out of topic, the conference was in Erice?

IS has the same problem, no?  FT shows each sale, the problem is that their sales report page doesn't show the total sales and earnings of an image, like IS and DT do.

Regards,
Adelaide

Same problem at Istock, but if you want to build up a statistic based on per day earnings with Dreamstime you have to click on every image and check the days it was sold. Obviously no problem with 1 download photos...

I have 10 level 2 and one level 3.

Are your balances correct?  Mine shows US$1 more than it should, and I can't find why.

Regards,
Adelaide

I find it hard to check my balance with DT.  I wish they had a simple list of each sale.  It is tricky when several photos sell more than once in a day.  Quite often I wonder where I have made the extra bit from.

they do, click on your $ amount, and a list of the recent sales will come up

Sharpshot, I have the some problem here... Leaf, the recent sale list don't work well if you have more than one download per photo per day.
