General Stock Discussion / Change status of image to exclusive« on: January 22, 2015, 09:49 »
Is it enough to delete an image from the port on other micro stock sites in order to claim exclusivity on one site, or must the image have been uploaded to just the exclusive site?

Would it be possible to implement a notification when an image is sold? Like the counter tag on the facebook app.

I got 0,25 for a XXL image yesterday. I opted out of the DPC today.

Newbie Discussion / Re: Greetings from a newbie 2 months in, and early experiences« on: May 15, 2014, 08:35 »
Great thread - valuable info for newbies like me. I just got started this January and I am currently uploading images to SS, iS, DT, FT, 123, DP and YM. I have a very small port, about 100 images. My goal is to upload 10 images a week. Microstock has so far been a great experience. Going through the appliaction process at SS was an eye-opener. I got great advice from the SS forum and was able to pass on the second submission. I really enjoy doing this, but it would not be feasible without my current job. The income is very modest, but on the rise. :-) But the best part is that I am improving my photography. Income-wise, I hope that the money earned in time can finance a photography trip somewhere once a year. :-)

Newbie Discussion / Re: Question for new microstock photographers regarding sales.« on: April 09, 2014, 05:46 »
I started uploading this year as well. In Febrary I made $5,68 and $18,93 in March. I have now between 50 and 60 images on line, depending on site. I have made money on SS, FT, IS and 123. SS and FT is currently my best perfomers. Nothing yet on DT, DP or YM. I'm kind of surpised that I have 0 dl from DT, but I guess my port is not good enough yet. So far I've been enjoying the experience and I believe my skills will continue to grow from shooting stock.

I loved your images. :-)
I am pretty certain that you would qualify for Shutterstock. But to be certain, I would advice you to post some of your excellent images at the critique forum at Shutterstock. They're known to be telling the truth on good or bad. I got accepted on the second submission after taking their advices. :-)
