Hey Daniel,

Great to hear you're interested in joining! With your awesome track record in video creation, it'd be cool to have you on board.

Just a heads up, I personally see this platform as an exclusive spot where we only sell our stuff. We're all about high-quality, original content, and probably steering clear of AI-generated stuff to keep things real. But this is just my take and we're still hashing it out as a group on Slack.

Feel free to jump into the mix if you're game to throw in your ideas and really get involved. It's a group effort and every voice counts!

I'm Dani, an author like you on Envato. Following Shutterstock's acquisition of Envato, and the ensuing uncertainties, there's been notable concern among our community. In response, we are proposing to establish our own independent, collaborative marketplace—crafted by authors, for authors.

To organize and begin shaping this initiative, we've set up a Slack workspace. This space will serve as our central hub for connecting, sharing ideas, and collaboratively building a platform that truly represents our interests and needs.

I start with two that I found and reported that many of my videos have been copied. I highly believe I am not the only one they stole from. Here is the first one who had more than 3500 videos (stolen) on depositphotos and I got reported and removed. (https://depositphotos.com/portfolio-42391792.html?content=photo) On shutterstock he has "very similar" footages with somebody else. Here is his portfolio on shutterstock:

Agree, one needs a bit of extra work to see what is going on with videos, but it is possible. I use pixsy and frankly I got surprised how well it works. All you need is 3-4 frames from a video from different parts where it might have been generated a thumbnail and you get results. That is how I caught them.

I would not expect for someone to copy and sell someone else videos because it would easily be identified as stolen...but here we are, in the last two weeks alone I found roughly 400 of my videos copied (already reported). I am pretty sure that the rest of their portfolios are somebody else work too. So for anyone wondering here they:

Another one which just got kicked of depositphotos for copying 219 of my videos, he has small portfolio on shutterstock...so everyone check if the got bitten like me..
