I believe, that minimum resolution for jpg (in zip with eps) there is 15 megapixels (for example 3000*5000 pixels). So at this moment I export in range 15.01 - 37.99 megapixels. You can change DPI settings when exporting jpg or png files from Illustrator to get large files.
This resolution range works everywhere for me - except maybe for Veer, as they probably need larger jpg for vectors.
For Shutterstock, I create small preview jpg (shorter side 500 pixels).

Not working for me... After click on "Click here to process your uploaded files." - I am stuck with "Uploading...Please wait..." forever.
I am not able to transfer vector illustrations from FTP server to queue.

Last months were pretty interesting at Yaymicro, I am sure that they do many things right. So all this development is rather important for me. I personally find the modified version much better then the original one. I am on subscription sites and I am usually not complaining about low prices, but I have serious allergy to see commissions under 0,2 USD. (no matter what resolution / partner distribution...) Most recently subs on Mostphotos and one of partners on Yaymicro, so I am thankful for that detailed opt-out system there. I will certainly hope, that EUR/USD exchange rate will hold. And I am really glad to see, that people from Yaymicro are discussing this plan here with us.

35% of $0.13 is virtually giving out for free! This is really too cheapskate.
0.1 EUR (0.13 USD) is commission for the artist, if I understand it right. Price for buyers will be around 0.3 EUR.

Prices are too low, I am not happy about this... I am really not looking forward to mass of 0.1E sales... I am definitely going to write them about this - or hopefully someone from Yaymicro will discuss it here with us.

I am also in transition from eps8 to eps10. And I really really hope, that this will have positive impact on sales.
I believe, that on Shutterstock is needed "eps10" keyword. Also, I am using this as caption: "(name of illustration) - eps10 vector illustration." this is imported on Shutterstock as description/title/caption.
But I am looking for some modification like: "(name of illustration) - available in eps10 vector file." To be more precise for sites offering both raster and vector versions.
For raster only sites (like Scanstockphoto), I use ExifTool to batch modify metadata and remove information about vector format.

This is really interesting topic. I recently also uploaded part of my portfolio to Alamy (RF illustrations, so no issues with releases). I was for several years quite hesitant about this, because the differences in prices.
During years, I came to conclusion, that the border between micro/mid/macro is very blurry, when considering RF images. And more and more of same images are both on micro and macro sites. Also, with few older test files, I had only several novelty sales for around 1-2 USD.
But on the other hand... When I look at actual normal RF price there, I must admit, the difference is huge. So I am still unsure about this. It would be sure better to have different set of images for Alamy.

I'm having a little problem with the deactivation process. I used the traditional method at first and everything worked fine. I then installed Sean's Grease Monkey Script and used that. It seemed to work, but my total file count did not change and the images are still there. Does this method take longer to process?
That's weird. I did a little test, but my total count goes down within seconds after deactivating a file, and I receive the deactivation e-mail within a minute.
Also for me, it worked almost instantly without any problems.

- 260 files (it brings a lot of memories how the upload was painful )

I removed 260 illustrations from my small portfolio there. (I am not uploading on istock for several years, I really need to see significant changes to resume upload there.).
And thanks for the script.

Thank You for the information about 0.1 sales. I also had number of them during last week, so I opted out.

I believe, that keyword "vector" is ok, if .eps file is uploaded together with .jpg (or immediately after .jpg upload). I asked about this on their message board few years ago. So I use same metadata as on other sites (with keywords "vector, vectors").
Microbius - Thank You very much, I also thought, that I need image number to upload eps file to ftp server. I will surely try to upload all files through ftp server.

Did they listen to the advice and changed it back?
No, the limit stays at 35 keywords. They responded to my email, the main reason was to reduce keyword spamming and they know, that this solution is not ideal. So I am going to continue with uploads, and some important keywords like "illustration" and "vector" will be automatically removed. But I really cannot prepare separate set of keywords.

I wrote them about this new limit (with link to this discussion). It will be impossible for me to create separate set of keywords... So if this limit stays, some important keywords will be automatically removed. I am actually quite happy with sales there in recent months - I have around 4100 illustrations there. (0.30 per subs. sales in my case).

I found around 10 my illustrations. Some are compilations of more original images. I will continue to search images and then I will prepare email with request to remove links/images.
I would suggest to vector artists here on MSG to do some browsing too...

Yes, I agree, freepik is search engine. And most photos links to legit free stock banks like sxc.hu.
I am certainly going to contact both freepik (to remove link with incorrect license note) and youtoart (to remove actual content).

I found collections of my vectors images with hundreds of downloads. I am not sure if actual download is from this site. It just takes me to webpage where I see only ip address - probably it is redirect. The download was possible without problem... They even state this false license note: Free for commercial use. (!!!) This is the most scary part. Even if they function only as search engine and copy this information from other places. This is extremely serious issue for me.

Maybe it can be related to conceptual category. I figured out, I need to click to None (beside conceptual category), when I need to leave this category blank. Than it works for me.

Hi THP, I upload my images there regularly, but only raster version of vectors. Just .jpg files (with removed words "vector" from metadata). I use this version for more raster only sites, like scanstockphoto.
So this can be solution, considering that most of their partners are focused on photos and raster images anyway.
I have around 3500 illustrations online on Zoonar. Sales there were none for me in last months... But now I see, I have one new sale for 66 EUR.

Hello, not sure about this notice, 2 MB is really low limit. In FAQ they mention only 30 MB limit, so maybe this now applies to vectors too (?). But jpg preview MUST be 15 megapixels or more.
I routinely upload zip files around 4-5 MB (with 15 - 38 megapixels jpeg preview) using ftp and everything is working fine. I find vector upload system on Fotolia very reliable.

Hello Erika, I would strongly suggest to contact directly Oleg Tscheltzoff. You can find his email in Management section on Fotolia blog ( http://blog.fotolia.com/us/ ). That was for me best way to solve things so far. They probably processed old request to delete portfolio and overlooked next communication with You. They should do final payment (at least). Good luck.
