Newbie Discussion / Re: starting anew

I have to agree.  If you were terminated at istock, it's because they don't want you there.  I doubt you will be let back in.

There are two scenarios I can imagine where "copyright violation" would be an issue.  Either you are uploading lots of images that have logos in them or are otherwise copyrighted items, like cars, statues, buildings, etc. that are trademarked, or else you are uploading other people's work as you own.

I doubt the first one would get you terminated.  The second certainly would.  Which is it?

derivative artwork. i don't know what's gotten into my head. i know it's so stupid.

As I stated in one of the other threads you started, once you decided to sign up at a site where your files are locked in for six months, you pretty much removed your option of becoming exclusive at istock, for at least six months.

Also, you keep saying that your account was terminated. Since we have no knowledge of the specifics of this termination, how can we speculate about whether istock will ever let you apply again? Even if you explain why, we still can't give you an answer that only istock can provide.

i can w8 six months all i want is to apply again at is. yes i know that but the reason why i posted is that i am hoping someone here can help or know things like this. i had a copyright violation. seemed like a grave offense for them.

i've just ben terminted at istock. istock has been my one and only. now i have none. i was able to buy computer and pen tablet because of this site. i want to apply again to them becuse i feel comfortable my files will sell. now i've started with other sites like dt, ft and StockXpert, but i'm very worried they will not sell. is there a way i could apply again to istock with the same identity? i am a vector addict and a fan of istock.

i've just uploaded on StockXpert, dt, and ft...and they all have no views! i have is but i was terminated so i switched to those sites. but i am not familiar with the system. in is, newly uploaded files that are online have views as soon as they are online.

Wouldn't worry too much about it, krayis. Some sites are
spread across a number of servers and take a while to be updated.
I once had a sale on BS with zero views. Go figure:)

kinda strange i don't know i am still adjusting, i was an istocker before never had files on other sites so i'm still testing the waters

Apply for what? Why was your account terminated?

violated an offense  (stupid me!)  i was an istocker for a year i was applying to be exclusive and that's where i got terminated. i wish to apply as illustartor just like before becuase i believ istock is huge and sells a lot. is there a way i could like apply again as contributor in istock?
