I have seen at some art fairs photographers selling blank journals with their images on the cover. I looked into getting them printed for a show I am doing this summer but the cost seems to be higher than what they were being sold for at any place I can find to print them.
Does anyone have a source for getting this type of merchandise printed at a reasonable cost?

I uploaded a few images to them back last December despite all the warnings both obvious and from other posters here. Just tried to go to the site to see if they had ever sold anything and all I get is "Server not found". Anyone know if the quietly folded or what?
I kinda miss Jack, he was entertaining at least:)

Just got a message from GL stating in part: In order to better support our faithful contributor base and maximize your earnings, we will be suspending all uploading until further notice. With over 60,000+ new images uploaded per month, we are taking in more content than we can sell and that is hurting everyone, especially you. This strategy will allow us to focus on selling the quality content you have already provided us. Anyone else get this? or is it just for the contributors they don't want anymore?

Is anyone actually getting the announced commission increase at Fotolia? I got the email and got increased commissions (.38 on a subscription M and .44 on a subscription XL) on one day. Then all subscriptions went back to .27 regardless of size.
I emailed Fotolia support on the 16th but have not had any response from them. Just curious if the commission increase has actually occurred or if there is a date they said it would start.

Working on my site: stockphotos.zigzagmtart.com and making progress but I am stumped with trying to get www.stockphotos.zigzagmtart.com to point to the same place. www.zigzagmtart.com points to my FAA site and stockphotos.zigzagmtart.com points to my SYS site but how to I get www.stockphotos.zigzagmtart.com to work? Site is hosted on Godaddy if that matters, I've added the 'A' record for "stockphotos" and there is a cname record for "www" that points to '@' but it does not work. Any help greatly appreciated.

Starting to setup my site and decided to use Godaddy for hosting as my domain name is already there. Thought that would be easiest but now I'm not too sure.
They asked for windows or Linux site, I answered windows (not sure why) is that the right answer or should I change to Linux?
Also, my domain name points to my FAA site so I thought to just create a subdomain and host it on Godaddy for the SyS site. But that's not working either. Installed WP but now I have no access to the site so I'm stuck. In the file manager I can see the WP directories and files but browsing to "stockphotos.zigzagmtart.com" just gives me a page not found.
Any thoughts on what to look into?

This whole internet thing is a mystery to me so please use small words  I am contemplating setting up a Symbiostock site and I want to get started correctly. I have a domain: www.zigzagmtart.com which is currently forwarded to http://john-trax.artistwebsites.com there is no actual hosting I guess, I just set that up to point to FAA. Now if I want to run a Symbiostock site do I use the existing domain name or start new? Can I keep pointing to FAA somehow as well? Ideally I would like to have a visitor go between the Symbiostock site for image licenses and the FAA site for prints. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Just started to upload to this site and @ 40 a day it will take awhile but I'm starting to wonder if it was a good idea. I currently have about a 50% acceptance rate. And I am only sending them images that were already accepted at a minimum of three other sites.
Kind of weird seeing images that have sold well being rejected for "poor use of focus". Just had one rejected that has 24 DL's on SS including an EL. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for what they are looking for? If my stuff is not what they are looking for, I won't waste their time.

No website all day. After almost no sales there in weeks (1 sale since December 19th) I wonder if they are having problems?

Did I just miss this or is it new? On the refused files tab there is now a box that allows you to submit a refused file ID for re-evaluation. The text says "Help us assess our review process by using the box below to insert the IDs of files you feel were incorrectly evaluated" there is a limit of 5 per week.
I picked my 5 and sent it to them. If this is real I think it is great, a way to simply disagree with an evaluation. I submit to 5 sites, so I sent DT 5 images that were approved at all sites except DT.
Has anyone else seen this?

I tried to apply at Photodune today but ran into a problem uploading the initial files. Took the little test, put everything in a zip file, uploaded the file. Clicked on upload. And I get a screen saying all of the files in the zip archive have errors. It seems the file name contains the '@' symbol. Well, yes all of my file names have that in them, that is how I have always named them. And no other microstock site has had an issue with it.
So does anyone have an idea on how to get past this? Any chance Photodune will change their policy on not accepting files with @ in them? I am not sure it is worth the time to rename all of my files to upload here. Not really sure how to do that if I wanted to...
