I just received this mail and thought I share for those who haven't protected their sites: As of 11am eastern time this morning we are monitoring the largest distributed brute force attack on WordPress installations that we've seen to date. The real-time attack map on www.wordfence.com became so busy that we've had to throttle the amount of traffic we show down to 4% of actual traffic. A brute force attack is when an attacker tries many times to guess your username password combination by repeatedly sending login attempts. A distributed brute force attack is when an attacker uses a large number of machines spread around the internet to do this in order to circumvent any blocking mechanisms you have in place. If you're using the free or paid version of Wordfence you should have the option to "Participate in the real-time Wordfence security network" under 'Other options' enabled. This will immediately block any attack originating from an IP address that has attacked other WordPress sites using Wordfence. This is an effective defense against this kind of attack. We recommend that until this passes you monitor your WordPress websites closely for unusual activity including logins, account creation or changes to the public facing website.

I just discovered some of my files on clipdealer, but never uploaded to them. Are they associated with other agencies I upload to or are my images stolen?

As I'm not an English native speaker (you might have realized it already ) I thought it might be a good idea to open this thread. Our network is growing fast and many of us are not English native speakers but would like to have a site that does look professional ... including the English texts. So this is where native speakers could jump in, giving some help and hints. So here is my first question: Simple, reasonable pricing ... starting from 4 $I think everybody can understand it, but is it correct and does it sound good in English? BTW ... if a native speaker does find anything on my site that sounds strange or is just wrong, please let me know.

I'm usually working with Firefox. Now I just checked my site on other browsers. Everything is fine on Firefox, Opera, Safari and Chrome. But not on Internet Explorer. The fonts in footer and sidebar are way to big and the whole design gets crashed ... strange enough only on the homepage. On the single image pages, FAQ, About, etc. everything looks like it should. Does anyone know how to fix that?

When editing an image we can set whether an image is model or property released ... does anybody know whether it's possible to make this information visible on the single image pages?

Ajotte just braught to my attention that my publich image info files are empty and indeed, when I try to update the public network and image info I get this:

I just updated to the recent version, and uploaded two new images. After processing and publishing those two I did a search for "salad" : Search result: 4 images, but only two of them (the old images) are displayed. The two new photos are neither searchable nor visible in their categories. Did I miss some settings in the new rating and ranking system?

I just discovered this: When I have for instance two files in my File Management Area and delete one of them, the "Buy Now" button won't be activated after checking the check box "I agree to the terms" above and I am not forwarded to Paypal. Is it only me or does anyone else experiences that? Edit: When I go back and add a second file, everything is working fine again... nice way to force buyers to purchase more than one photo

I just try to install the featured image widget in the sidebar. As I didn't find the category "featured images" I created this category and added an image to it. But it does not appear in the sidebar ... the headline "featured images" is there, but no image below it. Could anyone give me a hint what I missed to do.

Hi everybody,
I am quiet close to become part of Symbiostock, but at the moment I'm stuck. I uploaded two photos, but when I try to process them this it what I get:

Hi, hopefully I will be accepted at Alamy soon and so I would like to ask you a question:
If I understood right you can choose either RM or RF not both and you can't change your decision later. I upload to many microstock agencies so I thought it would be the best to try to sell my images at Alamy as RM to get better RPI there. What is your experience: Is it better to choose RM or RF and what's about RM plus that what they call "novel use" (if you may combine these two what I am not sure about)?

As we all know it is just part of the business to get random rejections and I can live with that. But in the last view weeks it happend that often for me on panthermedia that I start to ask myself what the reason might be. I get many files rejected on panthermedia which are accepted at the most picky agency. Or even better: My topseller on my topselling agency was rejected in its colored version on panthermedia but they accepted the monochrome version adding an "Redaktioneller Tip". I really had to laugh about that.
So there are some possible explanations for me:
1. There is a bug in the new interface which shows accepted files as rejected
2. The inspection team isn't the best
3. I'm on a black list, because of some critical comments on panthermedias forum and their support
Really wonder what it is.

Since two days I get this message when try to process my uploaded file:
"Upload Stopped
Sorry to inform that uploads will be temporarily stopped to facilitate a scheduled maintenance of our storage system."
I wrote to suppurt but no answer yet.
Does anyone else get this message or is it only me?

If I ad my Sutterstock-ID in my profile here, the icons under the posts does not lead to my portfolio, but to another one. I do not understand why.
