General Stock Discussion / Using 3D models in stock photos

Hello. I am wondering if anyone may know the answer to this question. I have asked Adobe support a couple times now and have not received a clear answer. I don't think the support people understand what I am saying...
Say that I wanted to create a composited jpeg image to sell as a stock photo that was a home office desk scene. I take a photo of a desk with a few items on it. Then I decide that I want to add a cup of coffee to the photo. So, I open up Adobe Dimension, upload my office desk photo as the background and then place one of their standard coffee cup 3D models into the scene and add a texture and lighting to it.
Is this acceptable to resell as stock or is there a copyright issue because I did not create the 3D model from scratch myself? If it is a standard model that comes with the Dimension application, is it open to use in a composite for resale? I am looking at it like this... If you use the shape tool in Photoshop to create a design to sell for stock, that is acceptable. Would using a 3D model work the same way?
On the other hand, I would assume that I couldn't purchase someone else's stock 3D model from a stock agency and use it to create a scene similar to described above that I intent to resell as stock. This would be a copyright violation because that artist created the model... it was not supplied by Adobe in the Dimension program. Does this sound correct? Am I making any sense here?
