« on: January 10, 2016, 12:52 »
My father got nikon d7xxx which has autofocus motor in it and he got 2 old lenses that he bought maybe 20 years ago.
The lenses are 35-70 3.3f and 50mm 1.8.
I will probably get my nikon d3300 soon and i dont know if will be able to use these lenses with my d3300.

Cameras / Lenses / What will be better for a begginer?
« on: January 09, 2016, 04:08 »
I can get nikon d3300 or t5i (700d) canon.
I heard nikon got a little better IQ because of the big sensor and resolution but the canon got more tools like AE Bracketing and bigger buffer that make it kinda more proffesional i think.
Video is not interest me, i buy the camera for stills ONLY so all the advantages that reffer to video isnt important to me.

Android users dont have getty moment, stockimo but i saw that we can get to these markets with our android phone with these apps:
eyeem photos can go to getty image instead of Getty Moment App that is only for iOS
Snapwire photos can go to alamy(i heard so , is that true?) instead Stockimo that is only for iOS
so is that a good replace for the original apps or with these apps we will get less paid than the iOS users ?

p.s is there any app that work with iStock?

6 / Snapwire and Alamy?

Adobe Stock / Is it worth to be exclusive at Fotolia?
« on: November 05, 2015, 10:59 »
I really need your help, my main agency right now is Fotolia and i have some photos that sell really fine so i saw an option to make a specific photo to an exclusive photo.
but i just didnt understand what will i get from doing it?
I will get more money per photo but the buyer will have to pay more ? (If thats true it can hurt the profits..)
or the "taxes" Fotolia takes from each photo will be smaller and i will get more % of the profit per photo and the price will stay the same?

And what is your best mobile earners?
Rate the apps:
Fotolia instant
Stockimo(only for iphone users)
Getty app (iphone only)

P.s you can upload mobile photos to SS and IS too but not through an app , you can just upload them regulary by the internet.
So tell us what is your top mobile earners and what app is your best.

9 / Dreamstime isnt the place for begginers
« on: October 14, 2015, 09:14 »
I am a new microstocker and photographer and i upload to fotolia and dreamstime photos i take in my phone and my camera(pretty bad one but leave it for a moment) and i started to see improvement in fotolia when i reached the 50 photos porfolio , i got like one sale per week and at this time nothing at DT.
I realised that when you upload photo to DT you get views (and maybe few sales) and then your photo is like gone , when it is the newest people will see it but few days later and the photo worth nothing.
I stopped uploading to DT because that reason(got 1 sale with 50 photos portfolio) and right now at Fotolia i get sale every two days and this is a huge difference for me.

« on: September 20, 2015, 14:37 »
Ok so im new to this microstock world and even to photography world , i am creative and i love to photograph with my smartphone and i heard about it so i signed up to Fotolia and Dreamstime (SS and IS wants passport , and i think it isnt a good idea to give it).
I started to upload photos (i dont have a portfolio , i got some nice pics but most of my upload are new photos that i took with my galaxy s4) to Fotolia and DT three weeks ago and i got 2 sales on fotolia and 0 on DT. :(
most of my photos are landscapes and animals , sometimes i take pic of things in my city but i think im not in the right direction to success.
what kind of photos really sell ? and can i keep use my galaxy s4 or i must to get a high quality DSLR camera ? (i got an old fujifilm s2500 hd , the quallity of it is just like the galaxy..)
so please answer me , it will help me alot!
