Newbie Discussion / Re: similar images

I am glad Adobe is taking this approach, because some of the "other guys" accept anything, and all buyers see are page after page after page of the same image, with a slight change somewhere...so slight, in fact, sometimes it's difficult to detect. In other words, contributors are just "stuffing" their portfolios to increase their visibility, i.e. trying (once again) to game the system, instead of supplying a quality product.

I share your opinion. It's better to upload less but of a high quality rather than sell every single shot. At least not to ruin your own reputation.

Taking pics just to count money they will bring you seems a bit strange for me.

Seems completely natural to me. Sure, it's a profession, or a business might be a more accurate description, but if your business isn't making sufficient revenue, then that's am issue.

People should be looking at their sales figures, working out their return per image, forecasting how much they're likely to make on an image. Then you're in a better position to plan future shoots and work out what's going to give you the best return.

Making great images is the main part of the profession, but what images you make and what you do with them is just as important.
Putting pictures up for sale and not counting the money seems more strange...some pictures I take cos I like them some I take only because I think they might sell.

Do you take pics you don't like just to sell them? (I don't criticize you, just curious.)

Very strange people. If they know it's banned, they shouldn't have entered the territory. Even if they did, sharing the video was a big mistake. Very expensive one I'd say.

How much time do participants have to complete all tasks?

Software / Photo editor

I'm thinking about shifting to Macphun's Luminar https://macphun.com/luminar. Is there anybody using this photo editor? What I'd like to find out is how it works with LR. Are there any drawbacks?
Can you suggest any other alternatives for Mac?

All entertainments become source of income for producers. When selling drones is not enough they start invent courses and certificates.

Is it banned to walk there because people may hurt themselves or because they can ruin the attraction?

I guess the 3rd one is the most important. There are lots of people who once decided to become photographers "just because it's easy money". They bought equipment, software and... failed. No return on investments at all. Moreover, who will buy poorly done photo? So this tip makes sense!

Software / Re: tagging software

There is no other tool that will describe your photo better than your own imagination. But you can combine it with your software to benefit more.

Taking pics just to count money they will bring you seems a bit strange for me. Photographer is a profession and it should be paid of course but don't forget to provide your clients with something worth buying. The photo isn't bad but i don't think it will make you a millionaire.
