Hey Chico I'm ready and finally uploading, (still working on front page and template) I moved urls though, it's now cartoonpictureshop.com. Adding yours to test now!

Oh good! I see it now and it is the same Post ID# I've been putting in my urls. I think I may have found the code to display this on the page, I'm going to experiment and if it works I'll post it somewhere for people to use if they want.

I keep thinking of this and forgetting to post...
On most stock sites and a few other self hosted scripts I've used there is an image ID number in addition to an image's title. This is really helpful particularly for cases where series of images have similar titles and content, and when a customer requests a quote from my other site I usually have them give me the image ID of the image the are requesting to avoid confusion.
This is kind of already built in with wordpress as the unique Post ID. I've been manually putting the Post ID at the end of the image slug as I'm uploading to avoid any future duplicate slugs, but what I'd really like to see is the Post ID displayed somewhere in the front end on the image page. I'm checking around to see if I can find a plug in that already does this, but if anyone one knows of an easy way feel free to share!
I think it may be worth it to work this into the theme itself.

Haha depends on the cat. One of mine will eat ANYTHING. The other prefers grass and cat food straight up. You might want to make him do a couple of laps to work off the extra calories though

Spicy Cheetos make everything better! Installing the new version now thanks Leo

Hey Leo, my issue earlier did turn out to be related to file extensions so scratch that! One thing to note though, my error images that were uppercase extensions aren't being deleted even though I've moved them to the trash, so they keep popping up in processing. Ghost images!

Agreed! Better to frustrate the thieves with watermarks than frustrate designers with no comp images imo.

I'm okay with disabling the link if not going to hurt SEO, I think disabling right click annoys more people than it's worth. As a designer I have and do use comp images to show clients before purchase. I'd add it might be a good thing to not completely disable as I've seen a few plugins for word press stores that handle image zoom and use the linked image...just rambling here but eventually I'd love to see a zoom plug in here

My file name? It's super original...this one is "business woman" but the really weird thing is when I upload it from another backup folder (same image but larger, same filename, it works?!) There has to be something I'm missing...still checking. This is a dumb question but how do I tell if the the extension is upper or lowercase?

Hey Leo! I broke it I've been having weird issues processing only some images, I get the following error above the table on the uploads page: Warning: getimagesize(/home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/plupload/uploads/business_woman.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/symbiostock_image_processor.php on line 481 And then if I click process images I see: Warning: file_get_contents(/home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/plupload/uploads/business_woman.jpg) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/wideimage/lib/WideImage.php on line 194 Warning: unpack() [function.unpack]: Type c: not enough input, need 1, have 0 in /home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/wideimage/lib/vendor/de77/TGA.php on line 90 Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'WideImage_InvalidImageSourceException' with message 'File '/home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/plupload/uploads/business_woman.jpg' appears to be an invalid image source.' in /home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/wideimage/lib/WideImage.php:225 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: WideImage::loadFromFile('/home/cartoo11/...') #1 /home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/wideimage/lib/WideImage.php(183): call_user_func(Array, '/home/cartoo11/...') #2 /home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/symbiostock_image_processor.php(167): WideImage::load('/home/cartoo11/...') #3 /home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/symbiostock_image_processor.php(1013): symbiostock_image_processor->symbiostock_process_image('business_woman', 78) #4 /home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/in in /home/cartoo11/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/wideimage/lib/WideImage.php on line 225 I can't figure out why some are processing perfectly and others are throwing this, it's all vectors almost certainly not a size issue since this error come up on some much smaller files (under 2mb) than ones that are successful, and I'm using the latest version posted today with a clean child theme no edits. On InMotion hosting. If any of that helps. Also it seems to be hanging around, I am uploading other images that are successfully processing but the one that is throwing errors keeps popping up on the upload and processing screens.

My bad! I've moved my site to a new host with a new domain so I uninstalled there! I will see about getting my URL updated on the official list sorry!

How was the test payment funded? PayPal balance? Credit Card? or Bank transfer/eCheck? If it was a bank transfer or similar those won't show up in your balance right away, only payments made from PayPal balance or by credit card are instant as far as I know. That said I've never had that problem with CMS account so it probably is like you said something to do with PayPal. Did you get a notification email that the payment was sent to you? If not have the double check that there are no typos in your PayPal address where you entered it in your store. (You've probably already done this but it's gotten me in the past . )

Oh this is great! I have so many ideas and things bookmarked from my crazy child theme research binge...I'll try to condense some of the best stuff and post here, thanks for all the hard work Leo! I don't know this might be crazy off course but one thing I found that I thought was cool was this template for adding an options panel: http://wptheming.com/options-framework-plugin/

I'm sorry to disappoint Cathy that is a Ktools site I customized...BUT I have been doing non-stop child theme/css lessons the past two weeks and I am planning on doing some child templates for Symbistock asap that I'd be happy to share if they come out like I hope! So far it's a dream to style comparatively especially since changes don't get overwritten with upgrades. WordPress is fantastic!

Darn I can't revote I like how you guys have set it up Dave and Cascoly, but I really loved the way it worked on your original site Leo. Especially the previews of the images in that set and the discount prices. I wouldn't mind the individual downloads as I'd probably try to keep sets smaller.

A note on the search development...this is one thing that comes up again and again with Ktools search that they never fixed, personally I have a huge issue on my site and it would apply to anyone who media with people. When you search "man" as in businessman on you will get every image tagged woman as well. Same goes for "male" you get all "female". Just something to keep in mind. I think over-complicating the search is easy to do. I didn't see on the poll options to sell images in sets, I think you had this working on your original site and that's one of the main things I want to be able to offer on my own. This is probably a more programming intense change so I know it might be a while. It would also be great if you made it as a plugin that we could buy if that is possible. I'd also pay for the Amazon storage plugin It's great for security and a little more speed on downloads plus you don't have to worry about hitting the magic invisible number of files with your hosting company...since unlimited isn't actually unlimited! One more thing if you are looking at new/other payment gateways Stripe seems to be on fire with every other script I look at these days!

AWESOME!!! Now get out of here! lol (We may have to ask Leaf to temporarily ban you...the only way to assure you a break )

Thanks I'll search through and find that, as a temporary fix, when I comment out this line in the cart everything works (payment, downloads, emails ...perfect):
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="<?php echo $curr[2]; ?>">
So I've narrowed it down to that...still searching!

No worries Leo, I'll keep working to figure it out, I may have a PHP developer friend I can drag into help I'll be sure to post if anyone else runs into the same issue and email you what I find for whenever you get back.. Now GO!

Still Having the weird PayPal error when I try to checkout, it just goes to a PayPal page that says: Error Detected Some required information is missing or incomplete. Please correct your entries and try again. I deleted and re-installed the latest version of the theme, tried without any child theme and all my other plugins deactivated. Totally stumped. I'm doing some Googling hopefully I can figure out a place to start troubleshooting. Gotta love those super general error messages!

You shouldn't need to delete your child theme just the parent and temporarily activate a default, that way your changes are saved. That's what I've been doing and it worked fine for the last 3 versions. Hope that helps!
