Jsolie... You are my hero! I contacted Peter at the email below, and he responded right away (within 24 hrs) and Presto! My account is gone. Thank you so much.
*blush* You're welcome! You, too, Lisa! Its official... I've got my crown!
Sweet! I'll be able to click on that link on IS' site in March, so I thought I'd use the time in between to make sure that all the loose ends are cleared up.

Whom did you contact at IT? Any e-mail? So far I have had no success trying to contact them.
Imagetrail is operated by an entity called Emblem Software. The person I've had an email exchange with is [email protected]I had originally contacted them via their contact form at http://imagetrail.net/Core/Contact.aspx

I received something from SS yesterday, but I haven't really looked to see what it was. I suspect it's a 1099.

I don't specifically know about imagetrail, but I asked those questions when I found out DT was partnering with Pixmac. What I was told was that downloads on Pixmac would show on DT just as if they had been downloaded from the DT site. That's what I was told anyway. I would think that imagetrail would be similar, but can't confirm that.
I don't know for certain, but Imagetrail might redirect to DT. In getting my images removed from IT, this is part of a reply I received from their support person: We don't actually have any images on the site , they are all just links and references to the source agencies. So, based on that, I'm going to guess they're redirecting.

One thing that's kind of concerning me is if I go to Google images and search for my profile name, a bunch of thumbnails come up that point to some of the images I had at 123. When I follow the links, I see odd data like "Uploaded in 2005" and "Member since 1969." I thought deleting images on 123 was enough for IS. Has anyone found this to not be the case?

One thing that might help in getting your port off of Pixmac is to go into your account settings on DT and look for the "Alliances" link. Make sure to uncheck the box for Alliance partner sales. Pixmac resells BOTH DT and FT images. I've had an interesting time getting my images off of Pixmac, and I think I finally got it a couple of weeks ago now.
Which just reminded me to go check ImageTrail and see if some thumbnails are still showing up there...

Thanks for the info on the keywording thing. What's left of my port at DT now has a message that reads: This image has been rightfully reported as having bad keywords and an editor approved the needed corrections. At this time you can add more keywords only through the key-mentoring system. The "Uploaded" and "Online Since" dates haven't changed, so hopefully nothing comes along and resets the dates on my port. That would really mess with my plans.

Thanks for the info, Lisa. They closed my account pretty quickly, but I still don't have my payment requested in November 2009. Are they running two or three months behind on payments?

I'm not trying to beat a dead horse, but I am wondering if anyone has received payment from Crestock recently.

I found a thumbnail of one of my images on Pixmac yesterday. I emailed both Pixmac and FT. I received a message back from FT saying that they had "forwarded your request to our engineers for review." I just checked and the thumbnail is gone and the entire gallery is gone.

I saw a message about this on istock's help forum a little bit ago. I suspect that their legal beagles were working on the issue at the same time.

I have several of the Kingston Elite Pro 133X cards in 16GB capacities. They work fine for portraiture and stock shots, but are a bit slow for weddings and sports. I don't really shoot video, but in the few times I have, the card has kept up.

Thanks, all for the info. It definitely helps with those of us on the fence about istock exclusivity.

I haven't received my payment either. Of course, my request hasn't had enough time to properly age, what with it being just shy of a month now...

One thing I will say about stock...it's rarely dull. If things seem to go quiet, get ready. More drama is right around the corner.

Oh, so it's YOU causing their current slowdown... No wonder their site's slow right now, what with having to slog through a couple thousand pics...

Why not buy one of your photos so you can get a payout if you are worried?
Even still, it might take quite a while for them to process the payment request. I've only been waiting something like 2 weeks now, and there's some that have been waiting for a lot longer than me.

...My goal as a generalist photographer was to populate as many "keywords" as possible with good images. (Please note this is quite different from populating images with as many keywords as possible!) ...
Not to derail this thread, but this is probably the most insightful photography-related thing I've read today. Thank you very much for sharing that. Yep, that's me...somewhere in the middle of the pack. Dreamstime Sales 212 / 401 Uploads 150 / 401 iStockPhoto Sales 227 / 460 Uploads 136 / 460

hmm well I hope you are patient. It seems the waiting line is well over a month.
Yes, I understand patience is needed with these requests. I'm being hopeful that they'll be processing payments at the beginning of December. I may not make it in that round, but I know that others will.

I finally hit the payout limit today and requested payment. I'm hoping that it doesn't take too long for them to process the request.

I got paid all four outstanding payment requests today. Hooray!
Thanks a lot to those who offered suggestions!
That's encouraging! I'm one sale away from reaching payout. Hopefully I get that sale this week

I think that everyone who doesn't use DeepMeta has much harder life...in general. I suggest all you guys to install it. I can't imagine someone still doesn't use it...really...
+100 to DeepMeta
