Looks fine to me.

Here is what I see on your website:

202
If you go to:

http://<your website>/please-log-in/

and then click on "Login / Register" in the top-right menu, you will see that the popup window doesn't look right.

I know that the series of steps don't make sense, but I don't think that it should work that way.

203
Ha, thanks, but that is not a fix. It shouldnt download as html, it needs to be a proper normal jpg download. It doesnt look good and certainly not professional if it doesnt work properly.

I thought that you were asking how to fix the issue with the customer.

I'm not sure that anyone has figured out how or why it happens.  From what I have read it is an intermittent problem.  So until someone can reproduce the issue consistently, there won't be a permanent solution.

204
Just had an email from a buyer saying she got an html extension. I asked her on which browser.

How is this problem fixed again?

I believe that they just have to remove the html extension, but they might have to add a .jpg extension (if it isn't there when they remove the html extension).

205
I think early on when I was figuring things out I might have deleted the
/symbiostock-network-directory/
page

when I click on the link I get the oops page now.

Is there any way to get it back?

Try this...

Create a new WordPress page called "Symbiostock Network Directory" and have it use the "Network - Directory" template.  Give it a permalink of "symbiostock-network-directory".

Just had another sale. Wonderful. Buyer managed to get the image, but she said it was constantly downloading as an HTML, how do I fix that again?

Do you know if she was using a Safari browser on a Mac?

208
I was looking around on the Go Daddy site and it's available on their Linux Hosting.  Course I no absolutely nothing about Linux does that mean (and bear with me cause I'm going to feel like an idiot asking) that their hosting is Linux based (it can be selected during signup not sure if it would be changeable afterward) and will I have problems working on my site with a Windows OS?

I use GoDaddy hosting (w/ Linux) and have had almost no issues with them.  Everything (WordPress, php, ImageMagick, etc) has worked fine from the beginning.

209
The image processor doesn't mess with the original files that buyers would download?  Those would remain intact how they were originally created?

ImageMagick is mainly used to create the thumbnails, watermarked images, and resize images when a buyer purchases an image that is smaller than the original size.

If it is used on your original files, it is probably just used for IPTC info (such as the copyright in your image).  I haven't checked that yet.

Thumbnails are created to be 150 px on the longest side.  So if it is a square image, it will be 150 x 150 px.  If it is a vertical image, then it will be 150 px in height, but variable in width.  If it is a horizontal image, then it will be 150 px in width, but variable in width.

211
The turkey image that you posted above has definitely been resized slightly larger.  On your website (http://images.mddu.com/image/smiling-thanksgiving-turkey/?r=http://images.mddu.com), the image is 573 x 443 px.  But the image you displayed above is 590 x 456 px.

Code: [Select]

.symbiostock-latest, .symbiostock-featured { position:relative }
.inner-latest, .inner-featured { position:absolute;bottom:0;left:0;right:0;text-align:center }

try this
(updated the centering)

Thanks, that seems to have done it.  It's weird though, because when I just copied it as is and pasted it, it didn't work at first.  I then formatted it as follows and it started working:

Code: [Select]
.symbiostock-latest, .symbiostock-featured {
position:relative
}

.inner-latest, .inner-featured {
position:absolute;
bottom:0;
left:0;
right:0;
text-align:center
}

213
Try this:

Code: [Select]
.widget-featured img {   vertical-align: bottom;}

Thanks, but that didn't work either.

Anyone else?

215
Try adding this to your child theme CSS.

Quote
.attachment-post-thumbnail {
vertical-align: bottom;
}

Thanks, but that doesn't seem to work.

I also don't see that tag (.attachment-post-thumbnail) in the original CSS docs.  Just wondering, where did you get this from?

216
Thanks.

Anyone know a solution without using a plugin?  Via CSS?

217
I have spent hours on this and can't find a solution.

If you take a look at my homepage (http://shazamimages.com/), you will see that the thumbnails are currently aligned vertically towards the top.  In other words, the top of each image is aligned along a line.

I would like to have the thumbnails on my home page align vertically towards the bottom.  In other words, the bottom of each image should align along a line.

Is there any way to do this in CSS?

Symbiostock - General / Re: Confused on how to start
« on: August 12, 2013, 04:09 »
Since you only have a domain name, you would need to purchase a web hosting service.

You would then install WordPress, Symbiostock main theme, and the Symbiostock child theme on the web hosting service.

After that it is up to you how you want to customize your website.

219
Then after 50 pages of drama we have to try to remember what we were talking about.

That made me burst out laughing.

Thanks...

;D

What version of WordPress did your host install?

iPhone Images???

Already accomplished. See here.

Yes, I know.  I was looking at the code for the new version of your plugin and saw the iPhone Images category.  It just caught me by surprise.

Thanks for the update.

I believe that it is in the WP Admin -> Users area.  Go to your admin user and there should be a field called "Personal Photo".

224
Glad that you got it working and that I could be of help.

225
My guess would be that the widget pulls the minipic version and then upsizes it to fill the square frame. That upsizing will obviously make it blurry.

Yes, it does seem that your website is upsizing the images for some reason.

If you take a look at the source for the webpage, you will see the following for one of your images:

<img src="http://i1.wp.com/picturebreeze.com/wp-content/uploads/symbiostock_rf_content/3853-minipic.jpg?resize=150%2C150" class="attachment-thumbnail" alt="3853-minipic" />

I'm not sure where that is coming from.

That doesn't happen on my website.
