dear pavallokazzo
If the material that you have is, from your opinion, not worth to be sold for few buck, you should look as fast as you can an alternative to sold that material for Higher price. If you can't find a different and better priced solution you should revisit your position because a file in your hard disk waiting for the "paying customer" is certainly not producing ANY sort of earning...hence you will loose money.
I'll try to stock up few videos, get them with some macrostocks agencies and see what they come up. Otherwise, microstock and sell fast Thanks everybody

I've use warp stab many times, if the stabilization is good no agency will know even that your clip is stabilized.
Thanks.

This applies especially to me!
I'll start to post some stuff to agencies but I have some material like the above one which I don't really want to sell it for few bucks... even if it is few bucks times hundreds..

So as a rule I would say: as soon as a face is clearly visible --> MR

I heard this name... Can I define midstocks agency as: RF & RM, mid sellings volume, mid earnings figures per sale...? Are they still alive?
I doubt this is a scientific term, so it's hard to pin down. Let's say classic macrostock is Getty & Co with prices around $500 for the max resolution; let's say microstock is images for $10 or less. Then midstock is anything in between...
Yes, there are several sites in this range. But things are all mixed up with microstock selling extended licenses which return $100+ and macrostock sites selling subscriptions to their customers returing $0.17 for the photographers.
(doesn't) make a lot of sense, thanks

Ok, I'm walking in Thai market and push the rec/shutter button... Back home, get the files, process, etc...
Can I send these files to an agency as commercial? Cases are: - no trademarks or logos off course - faces are visible but not my primary subject - or faces are visible as primary subject but for a very small amount of time (0.5 1 second)
any other?

I was wondering, as some agencies give referral a percentage of my sales (but not of my earnings as far as I understood), if there is anybody out there willing to take a slice of a cake while assisting me in prep the table!?
I'm not asking too much, just a preferred channel of communication and have most of my question made today answered...

Do you guys use Warp Stab or similar handheld video if needed? Is it acceptable by an agency POV?

Hey guys, Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. I would like you to check this plan I came up with and see if it sounds... I have a Panasonic GH4 and I'm shooting mostly 4k. 1) So my idea would be: - take my already processed 4k videos and photos (I'm using them for other purposes as well) and divide it in 3 tiers: quality ( https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=991472404224484&set=vb.974687192569672&type=2&theater
), so so, unacceptable - "quality" will go to macro for RM - "so so" to micro for RF 2) can I sell "quality" media as RM if used in other personal projects (facebook pages, youtube videos)? 3) footage is apparently outbeating images, confirm? I got the feeling that going for stock photos is just a loss of time... Thanks

I was wondering, what is your average delivery time?
Count: - the time you need to fill in keywords, worksheets, webpages - moving files and using softwares, upload etc...
Do not count: - acquisition or postprocessing time - time computer is left working unattended like rendering or uploading
Per each video, 30 mins is it a good guess?

I know this is one of the most questioned... I came up with this list:
Shutterstock: is the most favourite video microstock agencies Pond5: many users report it as their best selling but most place it at second spot Videoblocks: some loves it, some hate it
What about: iStock, fotolia, depositphotos, adobe stock? And your experience with 4k video?
