I have been surprised by PicFair today. I received email: You have sold a pic.  My portfolio there is only 56 images and 3374 views. I signed up 2 months ago. Probably this is good result. I will receive my price till 1 moth. I would like to ask how was your October in PicFair? Are u happy with sales there?

Yes, I am happy:  they give me a lot of stars because they really really (really) love my images
(I think that in some months I would be able to create my own universe)

New try. Why not? But please, fix layout. Plus previews are too big and watermark is weak.

I'm not with them. What I don't like is the huge previews. What I do like is the contributor's name as the watermark. I don't know of any other site that does this, be it stock or pod or whatever.

When I read the business details and pricing, I was about to jump in. Then I have seen the big previews without watermarks and stopped. I know that stock images has a widespread usage on web/blogs and their thumbnails are big enough for a moderate blog. I think they intend to distribute low-res / small images for free unofficially. But it should always be remembered that each penny for each pixel of an image is valuable for contributors.

Looks like all images are with watermarks.

Vertical images are huge and watermark is very poor! To big to upload here and the sad thing is they don't reply my mails asking if it's gonna change ever...

I have uploaded about 10% of my portfolio (mostly images that aren't selling well on other sites). I like the idea of Picfair, but I don't want to upload my best images because of the large vertical previews and weak watermarks.

Many of us seem to think the same, it's very strange they don't make any comments... maybe they are working on it, or maybe not... it would be nice to know.

I was actively searching for new agencies, so I uploaded 5% of my port and got an average of 10 views per image, some stars and no sales. After DP and PhotoArabia scams I'm really against spreading my files everywhere.

The previews and lack of decent watermarks in Picfair is disturbing. I'm pulling down my port as it clearly seems it's not going anywhere. Nowadays I prefer to only work with the top 3. The only small agency I would consider uploading now is Pond5 despite the low sales.
