I am seeing a 3 day weekend for a while now. I have 4 good (normal) days and always a fluke weekday, mostly Monday. Its like I have a 3 day weekend on sales. Last week was a good week in a long time, where all weekdays delivered.

The worst day is Saturday in my case, Sunday is always better and Monday sales continue normally. Probably the weekend sales differs from case to case.

I agree, Saturday is my worst day, Sunday is picking up from Saturday. But there is always a fluke weekday that looks like a weekend day

I'm seeing the same.  This month I have had 0 DLs on 3 out of 4 Saturdays - the first time to get multiple 0-DL days in a couple of years.  DLs on all other days but often slow and overall DL numbers still about 15-20% lower than last year but RPDL getting higher every year.  Almost a BME this month due to some high-value sales.  Weird.  I guess it reflects more sales to corporate clients who don't work on the weekends than in the past?

I had a really terrible day on Friday, 27th. Was that some kind of holiday? or was SS down for some people or something? Weird

No Free Lunch

Here is the order (Best to worse from Left to Right) of days within the week that I have seen in my four years in this business-

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday, Sunday, Saturday

Usually monday is good to me. But yesterday was very very slow on SS , and worst on other microstock. Same this morning. Usually I had few sales during the night, but nothing at all anywhere this morning ! Easter maybe ? Or it's just me ?

Stock Wife

I had a terrible Monday too, on Shutter stock anyway. No sales in four days on SS after a month of a steady stream. I've wondered if weekend sales on SS will go down with the freedom to use subscriptions whenever. Maybe overall sales won't go down but weekend sales will?

This Thursday(yesterday) was really down. Is it the beginning of so called Easter holiday? :-\

This thread was not aimed at a specific weekend but more at a trend. But yes easter weekend can slow things down.

Easter is a 4 day weekend in many countries.

My sales were fine yesterday but today is looking pretty much like a weekend.

My Fridays been pretty terrible for months.  About 1/2 regular weekday.  Of course Good Friday is worse, but bad Fridays been a trend for some time like Semmick said.

dbvirago

About normal for a Friday for me. Better than Tue or Wed this week.

Rinderart

The last week Of March was double the Old Normal. Quite amazing actually, But haven't seen a EL since Feb. Lots of OD's though.

Last week, 4 days between 20 and 70 dollar, 1 day barely a tenner. This week, 3 days between 40 and 60 dollar, today barely a tenner.

Weird.

Same here. Yesterday i made $9. Today i am at $11. Days prior in the $20 to $75 range, except weekends. I get 3 good days a week now.

I am not seeing this pattern.
I have 4 normal days (monday to thursday) and +-friday and slow weekend.

I'm counting only the downloads.
Range of $$ vary widely depending on how many OD's.

I noted correlation between volume of sales and how my images are referenced from google search results. I think this thing is between google and ss. In days when images have direct links to their pages, i have more sales, in days when click "view page" shows search result with the same keywords on ss site, but not the selected image page, i have much less sales. Click view image in such day will show just a thumb without any link to download. Generally percentage of images from ss on google searches is dropped and place is taken by dt, 123, dp. For me this explains raise of sales on all other sites.

I doubt it

my subs this week and last week are almost the same, +-3% ( monday to thursday ) , i think there is no point to calculate anything specific in stock, good stuff sell, even bad  keyworded :)

fotolia is worse, one day 40, next day 20

This just means that my image was used to attract a client, then my image was hidden or dropped in order from on site search result. Client selected and bought similar, because he could not find my image which he clicked on google page. Nothing to do with good, bad, or keywording. Similar behaviour i saw already with zazzle. For now i did not see such for other sites. Everybody can test this with their images. Most probability this policy affects not all, not in the same degree, not 100% of port. From buyer POV i would be not happy to have a search results page instead of image which i clicked, after i spent already some time for searching and later will avoid clicking on images with ss logo.
