Do you have a small number of downloads overall? just asking as your RPD jumps around so much.

Second half of 2019 and beginning of 2020 I had from 0.62 to 0.52.
Average is 0,57
After the fall of earnings I got 0.48 for the first two weeks. But I was VERY lucky because I had Subs/Demands/Singles 3:2:3. While normally I have about 3:1:0 or even 8:3:1. So, I'm kind of, disabled the port before it really hit :)

In my case, I had the worst earnings since July 2019 but the highest amount of sales ever at Shutterstock. Speaking about RPD (subs and on demand only), the drop was more than one third. More detailed analysis in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qboJKNzxbQ

In my case, I will only now take stock photos when I'm hiking or cycling locally. Therefore not paying any transport costs. Regarding gear, I don't intend to buy anything this year.

May $0.62
June $0.59

Surprisingly, it didn't fall too much in June. My total revenue only went down about 5% overall, which isn't bad. I had a lot of large SODs to offset the lower subs. I'm making more on ELs and some large OD/SODs because of the commission change.

I don't know if it'll hold up this month. If the ELs and large OD/SODs stop coming in, I'm going to see a bigger decline in July.

June: $0.114 (31 Downloads, $3.55)
May: $0,812 (45 Downloads, $36.57)
April: $0,415 (48 Downloads, $19.96)
March: $0,314 (84 Downloads, $26.38)

Not a single on demand download in June:
Just this ...1x $0,43 - 2x $0,14 - 4x $0,12 - 3x $0,11 - 21x $0,10

Disabled my portfolio now (wanted to see, how the first month would look like)

i don't track RPD, since it's easily distorted by a few EL - instead i'm more interested in total earnings and that also shows a picket fence graph, so i a rolling 3 and 6 month average

that's been declining w about same slope for last 4 years, w SS actually holding steadier than otjer agencies. then in the last year SS has joined the other agencies

since the pandemic all agencies have shown a sharper decrease w exception of canva (up sharply from subscriptions)

My June earnings went up a little but thats because my earnings crashed the 2 previous months completely (i have mainly outdoor/travel related content).
Number of downloads returned to roughly normal after 3 months or a huge decline and this masked the huge RPD drop.
Calculated the earnings under the old tier and for the same month im down hundreds of dollars.

RPD       (99% images, more than 2000 downloads per month)

Jan         0.68
Feb         0.71
Mar         0.71
Apr         0.68
May        0.73
Jun         0.84

It feels like that half of my images I am giving to SS for free and other half brings a decent income.

Mostly vectors and some videos.

JAN RPD  $0.72
FEB RPD $0.82
MAR RPD $0.73
APR RPD $0.78
MAY RPD $0.78

JUN RPD $0.66 (had high single sales at the end of the month which upped the rpd, which was more like $0.59)

AVERAGE RPD SINCE DAY 1 IN SHUTTERSTOCK: 0.74$

Definetly have a loss of around 18% in total sales.

I calculated the average rate of subscription, On-Demand, Enhanced and left out single images (no way to know what they were paid before vs now).

Subscription : 0.23$ instead of 0.38$ before.
On demand: 2.81$ instead of 2.85$ before.
Enhanced: 33.70$ instead of 18-22$ before.

Subscription being always around half of total downloads, there is definetly a big loss there.

I do stock full time and Shutterstock gives 30% of my total income, so I simply couldnt afford to disable my whole portfolio. :( What I did however was to disable videos (some animations) and left vectors on (small portfolio of 1300 files); I also didnt upload a single file since the announcement and wont upload ever again and come January I might disable everything (until then I can see to it so that I can afford to take a stance and leave).

To give some statistics and insight and help to understand how the new system affects those who stayed: the number of downloads were average in June but total earnings were around 20-25% less (at Level 4 right now, will level up to 5 this month - used to be at 0.38 tier before the change). It was my worst month since 2018 December.

My RPD vithout video sales:
All time      RPD  $0.59
Year 2020  RPD  $0.59
May 2020   RPD  $0.62
June 2020 RPD  $0.47 (-20% compared to 2020 / all time)

I don't want to be accused of trolling or anything like that, but as an istock contributor who sees a lot of hate directed at IS, and I'd be the last to claim they're fault free, I'm surprised at how much higher my RPD is compared to the ones reported here.

My RPD on IS is (and has always been) higher than RPD on SS.
And that was BEFORE the cut on SS.
The last sales I had on SS were all 0.10 cent, nothing else. So my RPD probably would have dropped to 0.10 cent since june 1st, hadnt I disabled my portfolio.
On IS its always around 0,55 cent.
