Author Topic: Finally made it to the top tier (Read 6556 times)

It took a while, but I finally made it to the $.38 tier. I remember making about $3 with 10 images in my first month and I was thinking to myself...maybe I can make money doing this.

All I wanted to do was make a bit of side money to buy some tech toys and fund my hobbies. I didn't think I'd be in the position I'm in today. I think I hit every goal I wanted to hit in SS, though I still have a few more goals for FT.

It's been a nice ride and I'm thankful for all the motivation I got on this forum.

Thanks. It would be nice to see a higher tier where contributors could earn close to 50%.

Congrats. It would be nice to have a higher tier but only if they kept the current levels as they are. Other sites have moved the goal posts and made it virtually impossible to reach a top tier and I don't want to see SS doing that.

And yeah, would be nice to have a higher tier. Reaching those goals is good motivation.

FT has 8 tiers and I wonder if it's even possible to reach the top tier. That Diamond tier looks near impossible even for people in the top 100. And thanks!

Thanks. It was my main motivation for the last 6 months. I feel like taking a small break from microstock and work on my other projects now that I'm on the top tier.

Weren't most of these tiers in the agencies created when individual contributors sales were a lot higher and haven't been lowered to accommodate current days reduced sales?

I reached top tier in February. Then my monthly earnings got lower than before. I hope there is no correlation and you will have a good time.

From what I remember, Istock, BigStock, 123RF and FT all made top tiers that were impossible to reach for any normal human being. Maybe Yuri and his team and a few others had a chance but for the rest of us, they were taking the Michael.
