I know that. So I'm also not quite sure. But I've had it before. Like in this example.

When we got grades (6 to 10), the insect photos with a calmer background were rated much higher for me.

Now that's funny too. I forgot that whole grade fiasco.

Almost every landscape photo that has trees with leaves is being rejected for focus (The main subject is out of focus or is not in focus due to camera shake). The other agencies have no issues with my photos. How is your experience?

Yep had exactly the same problem with tree photos yet DT Alamy & even adobe accepted them so I think ss don't want that subject and are too lazy to tell us the real reason

well said! Wish they would say --Hey, we don't want this pic because we don't need more yellow jackets...

SS "We rejected your photo because we have some dysfunctional automated review program that looks at the edges or background, and decided your image was soft..."

Before a reviewer ever looked at it.

Not that every agency is clear about the answer, but some have said: Rejections for similar could mean, we have too many images like that already. Meaning not necessarily similar to one of our own images.

I think LCV is the "reviewer didn't personally like your image" rejection?
