It's super frustrating after being with Shutterstock for 16 years to sell my photos for $0.10. I've had enough of this disrespectful pricing.
I think they'll do just fine without me. Portfolio deleted. Bye.

A very good decision, in my opinion. I did the same thing when they introduced that $0.10 fee. After about two years, I went back to them, thinking that my photos shouldn't just sit there unused, but now I'm thinking again about deleting all my portfolios everywhere. It's no longer justified.
I'm thinking of trying to start a YouTube channel, but I'm still looking for solutions/ideas.
It's a shame it's come to this, but it was nice while it lasted.
:)

I think you will find that you are leaving a couple of years following an even larger exodus. Hardly anyone will blame you for deciding that enough is enough. I'm hanging on to see what happens after the merger, if there is a merger.
It's not just the reset and the dimes, it's the total income that has fallen to a waste of time and effort, to maintain or watch.
